Good Training Advice
I trained my own SD before getting this book…I kinda wish I had this before I started. There are some really good tips that could have made it easier to train my Doberman.

Each dog is unique and learns at his or her own speed.
Great starter book. Most important is the relationship you have with your dog. Remember, this is a working dog, not a pet. You will love each other but itâs most important that the dog always understands the order given and follows it.

Incredible resource!
Even if you’re not training up a puppy to be a service animal, the tools in this book are invaluable. Made things easy and was very effective. I would definitely recommend!

Training for all ages from puppyhood. Simple clear concise instructions made in a nonjudgmental manner. Advice and suggestions for correcting problems. A good book for all humans from beginners to experienced dog owners. My puppy is doing really well from us following advice. 7 months old and walks well beside my wheelchair when âon dutyâ(his service dog harness is a little large but heâll grow into it) He is already picking up dropped items and the mail.

I am a professional dog trainer and have trained Service Dogs. I found that the information is great and easy to follow. I think that novice dog handlers will find this helpful. This book is not a substitute for professional training.
