Great carrier
Happy with this carrier. Seems to be very well made and durable, which is my top priority for safety and security. Zippers zip well, the base board is sturdy and solid, the material and mesh holds up well even with some very light cat scratching. I like the multiple entry options (but zipper quality was key to be comfortable with this). Comes with a handy tether inside. Can carry as a duffle or use the shoulder strap. Folds down when not in use.

Lesser quality clone of another carrier i just bought
To start, this is a very serviceable carrier. I wouldn’t trust it for heavy use, but for the occasional trip to the vet or whatever its perfectly fine. The ability to unzip almost any side makes it easy to extract an unwilling pet.So, amazon’s algorithm was spot on with this. I just purchased another carrier practically identical to this and was thinking of ordering a second when this popped up in my list. This unfortunately allowed me to apples to apples compare them and notice all the places they cut corners with this one. This is $10 cheaper so its mostly forgivable/fixable if you are on a budget.Here are some of the worse issues:There are these rods that give it rigidity when fully assembled. They run aroud the edges of the front and back doors and along the top of long dimension. these rods are about 3mm on this one. my other one used much stiffer 5-6mm rods.For the top rods, there are these pockets sown in to hold them. it seems that they forgot to sew the ends shut so the rod slid out causing the top to collapse while carrying my pet.In general the stitching seems less durable and not as straight.Also this thing had a strong chemical smell when i opened it. A couple of hours airing out in the sun mostly fixed that.

Cat carrier
I like that this carrier can be stored flat. The big plastic carrier we had was a pain to store. As soon as I zipped up the ends of this carrier, my cat came over and went inside. I love all the ways you can open the carrier. It will make it much easier to get our cat out. The bottom piece is stiff to give stability to the bottom of the carrier.

Love it, Plenty large enough for a large cat
Ok, I don’t have a Maine Coon, but I do have a 13 pound boy cat which is too large for my other carrier. This one is plenty large for him, and could hold a larger cat even. Unfolded it, and my Torty immediately went into it, the baby wanted in, but my Torty would have none of that. This type of carrier is so much nicer than the big plastic ones. And as far as storing goes, so much less space to take up.

Excellent
Excellent pet carrier bag. Well constructed, stylish and easy to clean if your pet has a so-called nervous stomach. It can also handle a heavier pet as one of our cats is over 20 lbs and this has no issue. The mat inside can be removed and thrown in the washing machine if necessary. The rest of the bag can be hosed down and scrubbed. The bag also opens on each end and also on the side so that’s an extra plus. Highly recommended.
