    Worked perfect!
My 92 pound lab did great with this product. I could float on my own mat and he was very content on his. Very easy for him to get in and out of the boat by himself. Worth every penny! It deflates and is very easy to store. Nicely made. Easy to transport.

    Perfect safety device
I bought this when unsure of dock access on lake vacation. No beach access, so this was a saving grace for my 2 labs, 60 & 70 lbs to use to climb up on dock. I ended up keeping it level & not needing the step-up, but nice to have based on height needed. My swimmer figured it out easily after I helped direct her. A little struggle for both at mesh part in water, but I assisted with lifting their strap on back of life vests I had on both pups. It support one at a time well. Floppy with 2 on it, but that is because they were moving constantly to edge. Great thick product/durable with great inflation device and nozzles. Did not take long to inflate& folded up easy with nice carrier bag included. Pricey, but sooo glad I bought it.

    1000% WORTH IT
We bring this to any body of water! We bring it to the lake to tie to our dock and have it in our pool for our dog! I think the gray pads will be the first thing to go as they get pretty torn up. The rest of the PupPlank is very durable. It is a good size for our 100lb lab though I feel like we may have had to over inflate it per the specs (which not sure how you’re supposed to measure air pressure in it with a hand pump) to support our 100+lb lab. It performs as advertised. It is kind of heavy in the bag but once it’s blown up and the weight is more evenly distributed it’s pretty easy to lift and maneuver. The only thing I have to complain about is the durability of the plastic things that cinch down the top thing and that goes around the PupPlank when not in use.

    Meh.
To start, we have a Newfoundland, he’s about 110lbs. We originally purchased the yellow version of this and it worked well for a season but we noticed that Ruger was struggling to make it up on our pontoon with the height difference between the plank and the deck so I did some research and came across this. From the photos it looks like it would be exactly the same but it seems the ramp area is a little thinner than the original, which makes it hard for the wide loads, AKA, our dog. Something we can work around I guess. The real problem is, this claims to be claw friendly but we’ve literally used it twice and the grey textured part is already torn up from claws where the dogs struggle to go in and out. I would like to say it’s just our dog and he’s dense but my sister’s dog and our second dog (Bernese Mountain Dog) both had the same problem. At this point, we have purchased two pup planks and can use neither. The first can’t be used because of the height difference, it’ll be hard on his joints and the second because the ramp is thinner and it’s certainly not claw friendly. If I can find a way to secure the extra step to the original, we may be able to make it work but even then, little silly to pay $600 on two planks just to use one part from the most expensive one when that part could easily just be sold separately. Not a happy camper.

A Must-Have for Dog Friendly Boats!
I don’t write reviews often, but I felt that I needed to for the Solstice Pup Plank! We opted to go for the one with the additional Boost pad and it was a great choice to give our dogs an extra step onto our pontoon. It is very durable and holds up to both of our dogs scratching and clawing at it when they climb up. Now we no longer have to get scratched up lifting our dogs onto the boat! I would highly recommend this product and should be a no-brainer for dog owners that enjoy bringing their furry friends out on the lake!

Love the PupPlank! Air pump defective
I love the new boost Pupplank. The extra height is just what I needed for my boat. Had the older model and it needed this. However, the new air pump that came with it is either defective or poorly designed. The adapter needed for airing the pupplank will not stay attached. The knob and notches that are intended to hold it attached don’t match up

  7. Joan Hynes

    Great product for dogs
This works perfect for our Chessie to get in and out of the water. It ties up on our boat dock. The dock is about 3 feet off the water. The kids use it too. Needs to be cleaned every few days to prevent slime from building.

  8. Jessica Carey

    AMAZING!
I have a water-loving lab who loves to swim (and jump off the boat when you aren’t looking). As easy as it is for her to get off, getting back on is another story. She’s just too heavy for me to lift, especially in deeper water. And trying to lift her with her lifejacket hurts her and I both. This thing though is amazing. She immediately figured it out. Climbed out before we even finished getting it tied to the boat. Super sturdy and the extra step really adds stability. Can’t recommend enough. Happy dog mom here!

We have 13 yr old and 11mth old german shepherds. Game changer they can get into the pontoon no problem. Very happy boys.
