Bear LOVES these
My dog loves these. I mean LOVES them. I discovered them at his veterinarian, and when he went crazy over them, I ordered some for home. They don’t have an overpowering smell. They must taste good because Bear gobbles them as fast as he can. They are soft enough for his old teeth but have some crunch. It’s hard to know how fresh they are since they are freeze dried with the consistency a little like styrofoam. They may cost a little more than his other treats but it’s worth it.They also distract him so I can give him his insulin shot – he’s so focused on gobbling these up, most times he won’t notice the shot as much, though it’s never ideal to have to give your dog insulin shots 2x a day.

Great for my picky senior dog
My chihuahua is extremely picky so Iâve mostly stuck to one type of treat her entire life, dried chicken strips. Unfortunately, theyâve become too hard for her to eat as sheâs lost several teeth. I wanted a limited ingredient treat since she would be more likely to want it, but soft enough for her to be able to eat. I didnât know how sheâd react to freeze dried treats since Iâve never offered them before. She was unsure for a second, but then she very enthusiastically ate it and begged for more. So I am extremely happy Iâve found something she really likes that she can chew without difficulty. The price is reasonable for the amount that you get. I will definitely be buying more for her.

Dog training treats
Very good product. 1 ingredient only- beef, chicken, pork, etcThe dogs I have (and have had in the past) have all loved these treats. Would work well for training treats.

Dogs love these, but much of the container is broken treats and dust
My dogs love freeze dried raw treats. The treats inside this package are supposed to be like small 3/4 in cube shaped treats. Due to the nature of the treat, they break easily. Quite a bit were broken in half, which is still easily useable. But, there was a good chunk of tiny pieces and dust at the bottom. This is still useable i just pour it over kibble as a treat, but kinda defeats the purpose of buying a treat container. I have noticed this is a general freeze dried issue and not necessarily this brand.

Disappointed
Iâve bought Stewart treats in the past in the beef liver flavor and never had any issues. I got the chicken liver flavor this time to shake it up for my dog, and was extremely disappointed in how much was missing out of the container when it arrived. The first 2 pictures are of the container arriving sealed. The third is to show proof that 3 inches worth of the container is empty! For the price of these Iâd expect to get a full container. Will definitely be going to a different brand in the future because of this.

My dog loves these. Just the smell alone is enough to grab her attention. So much so that I had her off lead outside and she wouldn’t leave my side with these in hand. Her recall is a little sketchy as her distraction rate is high. These really kept her focussed and by my side.I would live give 5 stars but most of what I got was powder. Good for a food topper but not what I ordered or intended.

Too small pieces. Very crumbly and expensive

I suppose the clue should have been in the title but even though the product was freeze dried I was expecting a very different texture. I was expecting something akin to a dried jerky but these treats are very crumbly and powdery, they smell gross and the dog (who will genuinely eat anything!) turns her nose up at them. Not worth the money in my opinion.
