These are great! Looks nice as a gate for my patios with wrought iron railing
Tried several solutions to keep my dogs contained within my patios to no avail. These are sturdy, easy to open/close, and lock in place. They also look good with my wrought iron railing. I secured them at the bottom of my deck stairs. Most importantly, they secure in place to my wrought iron rails without having to drill or otherwise modify my deck railing. The kit comes with hardware that solves most installation challenges.

Simple setup, but didnât work where we wanted it to
Unfortunately, this wonât work at the top of the stairs for us as our banister is on the inside of the rail so it prevents the gate from lining up properly. We were able to put it at the bottom of the stairs. My husband put it together and the ease of setup seemed pretty quick for him. The lock closes and opens with ease. I think this will work for a variety of people in many different setups for stairs, but just not where we need it most. Seems secure and of good quality.

This is the most finicky baby gate you will ever find. It will fall off the hinges of the wind blows the wrong direction. We had a pin break after a few short months of minimal wear and tear and customer service was absolutely no help whatsoever. Incredibly disappointed to have spent money on this product, put holes in my walls, just for it to break with no product help or solutions.

Missing instructions and pieces
The gate itself works great, but there were no instructions and a bracket was missing from the box. We didnât end up needing the bracket, so the gate is functional. But it was very difficult to figure out how to install it just based off the picture on the box.

EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED!
Super easy to put together & install. We have a metal rail as you can see so I needed something I could attach to the metal AND wall mount! It took me forever to find a gate with good reviews for TOP of stairs & came with the correct hardware! I’m so glad I finally found this. We have a 10 month old so this has been up for about 4 months now & it works great! Very sturdy so far, opens & shuts easily & with one hand. It does not close on its own so there was a little reminder period for our 13 year old to “Close the gate.” But I have no complaints! This gate is PERFECT for us.

Very awesome quality on these gates and easy installation. They are heavy, so be aware when you mount.My older child can easily use them as needed to go up and down stairs, but my smaller ones stay safe.

I really like this gate. We also have a tension one by Grace which is great and serves its purpose in another area of the house, which is auto close but itâs hard to like lift and open the gate. This one is so light weight and easy mechanism that doesnât compromise on safety. This worked great for our baluster old iron rod stairs. I like that itâs high so the kids canât lean over. Was easy to instal and adjustable no damage to anything or holes to drill

I assumed this gate wouldnât be the most stable as itâs not being mounted to the wall but thought it would be better than pressure gates. Itâs visually pleasing but nothing more than junk. 4 little straps definitely wonât keep the gate secure if my large dog tries to put body weight on it or against it. In order to lock or unlock, you must lift the gate up first and maneuver accurately into or out of the lock. Itâs not the a simple swing and close or open. I really wanted to like it as I need something for the top of my stairs but this is not it.

So many compliments, this works great for us and our puppy.I had help putting together so cannot comment on how easy it was, though there was a couple pages of instructions and pictures.There are a couple ways to assemble this. We assembled banister to banister.There is a banister to wall options packaged with this as well.Two months later, not a single issue using this. And my wood banisters don’t look any worse for wear.There are protective pads for the wood and a lot of thought went into the design of this.A+ and two thumbs up!
