Comfortable – secure
I love this carrier for my new Maltese pup. He loves being right in my face – so he loves this. He is a good boy and doesn’t try to climb out – he is very content and seems comfortable. He is 5 pounds – and 5 months old.

Nice Carrier, but needs slight improvement.
I have a similar dog sling carrier from another brand, that has wide shoulder fabric that comes down around the shoulders and upper arms. I always thought it should have something to adjust at the shoulder to hoist the front up more when the dog is in the carrier. When I saw this carrier, I thought it would be perfect since it DOES have shoulder adjustment buckles.Well, the shoulder buckles feature works great and does help to take the weight off the back as the carrier can be adjusted upwards when the dog’s weight causes it to pull down. But what this carrier does NOT do as well as the other brand that I have, is in the design of the pouches themselves. These carriers essentially have two pouches: the one closest to your body where you put the dog first, and then the outer one that you pull over the inner one to make a second layer to help hold the dog better.In my other carrier, the pouches are all sewn the same size, but in this carrier the inner pouch slants down. Picture a zigzag like in the letter Z–the most inward and most outward pieces of fabric are the top and bottom of the Z, but the middle fabric angles from high on the left side to low on the right side. I don’t know why they did this, as it ends up making the right side only ONE layer of fabric supporting the dog, instead of the two layers that would provide better support. It would only make sense if the dog’s head was facing right, since there would be less fabric around the head, but I’m right-handed and I load my dog in head first to the left side, and then boost her tushie up and into the rest of the carrier so her tail end is to the right side. It would be weird and difficult to load her in tushie first, and frankly, I’m not sure that she’d even go for that.So that’s my main complaint. The sling feels okay and helps me carry my dog when she inevitably gets too hot or tired of walking and wants to be carried. She’s 13 lbs, which I think is on the higher end of what is comfortable (for the user) for carrying dogs in these types of carriers. I do need to support some of her weight from the bottom with my arm or hand, but I needed to do that in the other carrier too. This carrier would probably feel perfect for carrying a dog that was under 10 lbs.

Perfect for nursing puppies that need extra care
I raise dogs in occasionally. There will be one in a litter that needs a little extra time and attention. If the mother dog is rejecting a puppy they need body warmth with this pouch. Iâm able to provide that while keeping the baby safe prior to this I used to have the baby wrapped in a towel and cradling while Iâm trying to go about my day, this was a little of a challenge to put on once I got it in place and got it adjusted. Itâs very simple to just slip over my head and shoulders provides a safe, warm and cozy place for puppies.

Not for 20 lb Dogs
I wanted so badly for this carrier to work for my dog, but it just didn’t work out. She weighs just under 20 lbs and has occasional bouts of pancreatitis. When she doesn’t feel well, all she wants is to be held. Of course I always try to comply because I want her to feel better, but sometimes I have things to do and just can’t sit and hold her. As soon as this carrier arrived, I tried it on because I wanted to be familiar with wearing it before I actually needed it. I managed to get it on, but getting her into it was a hassle. She wanted nothing to do with it, so I put it away until the next inevitable belly ache (yes, she’s seen a vet for it and no, she doesn’t eat table scraps. She just has a sensitive tummy). Yesterday, I could tell she didn’t feel well so I tried the carrier again. This time she complied but I just couldn’t get the carrier adjusted well-enough that I could actually do anything without holding onto her with one or both hands. I really think the problem is she’s too big. I’d say this is probably better suited for dogs up to 12 lbs. I’m really disappointed because it fit me just fine. It seems very well made and, as I said, I think the design of this carrier would work better with a smaller or lighter dog.

Helps calm my dog’s anxiety
I like the bilateral design of this carrier. I like how it distributes my pets weight in a way that is very comfortable for me to carry. I have neck issues and this carrier still made it comfortable for me to tote my 13 pound dog around. I like that I can carry her hands -free. I like the stretchy material because it provides a good amount of pressure that works to both keep my dog calm and keep her secure. I ordered the XL based on the size specifications and it works fine for both me who is heavier and my partner who is taller. We tried to use this with one of our 10 pound cats, but without holding him into it, he doesn’t stay out easily. I like the quality of this carrier – it seems very well made.I like the idea of having the strap to help secure my pet inside, but the strap seems to be in a location that doesn’t make sense and so I haven’t used it. I find it very difficult to put my pet inside it by myself. I need help every time. Perhaps if I had a smaller pet it would be easier. But I’m working with 10-13 pound range.
