The play yard is worth every penny and is extremely sturdy. Over the past 3 years Iâve bought two of the 6 panel to expand my childrenâs play area.

Itâs a good size for a 9-month old. Sturdy enough to withstand him using it to pull himself up to stand, and then hold it and shake it. It took some getting used to folding/unfolding the panels: theyâre a little stiff, and it sounds/feels like something is going to break, or crack. But so far, so good.

Best gate out there
This gate does exactly what it needs to: provides a safe enclosed space to keep children or pets out of trouble. We have a hooligan dog that likes to do parkour off the couch, and sometimes he does it when other pets are on it, so to keep everyone safe we use this to keep him in his zone. The joint mechanisms are very sturdy and when adjusting, it will feel like you’re breaking it lol you’re not. They click into place and it’s easier to adjust them if you use your leg to brace the gate and adjust with your hands. Works for us!

Overall the gate is solid. The plastic is light weight but sturdy and well designed. Although they dont recommend you let it free stand, if you angle the gates right and your toddler is not a big climber, it will stand and support a small amount of weight. The carrying strap is a nice touch.I am docking two stars because I feel like the way this was advertised on Amazon was deceptive. When searching for baby play yards, this shows up as a popular option. When you open the product, it shows multiple different colors. The gray (default option when I selected it) shows included wall mounts and a wide swinging gate as one of the panels. However, my wife did not want the gray color, she wanted white or pewter, so I selected that. It was a comparable price and similar photo. However, it turns out that this color (and others) do not come with the swinging gate or the wall mounts. That was not what I was led to believe and I feel deceived by how this was listed.Additionally, 6 padding feet are supposed to be included and I only got two and I am annoyed. Otherwise the gate is solid.

Classy Color and Configurable
I love the idea of these gates, but am still figuring out the best way to use them as my baby gets more mobile and pulls up on things. Great value for the price!Pros: Came assembled, easy to move around and configure how you need. You can separate the pieces. Per my spouse, the color is classy doesn’t look like it belongs in a “tacky daycare”.Cons: Unfolding them is tough, it feels like you are going to break something. They also don’t stand on their own very well, our 8-month-old can pull the gate down.

2nd purchase
Years ago we got one of these and it has been through several puppirs, dogs, and kitties. When we got our new puppy it was one of the first purchases we made. The old one is in several sections around the house to block off areas, and the new one is set up as a rectangular area where she can safely spend time near us when we are working or eating.

I appreciate this as it has successfully handled my son’s desire for destruction and freedom. He has broken out of lesser pens, but has not been able to best this one yet.
