    Good quality dog stairs
These stairs come vacuum-packed in a small box, but fluffs up to full size within seconds after opening. The stairs are a little more narrow than expected, but the gentle slant of them is nice. The fabric is soft and there is a built-in handle for carrying – a nice addition. Our small dog is aging and has been struggling to jump up on to our bed. These stairs bring her closer to the top. Biggest issue we’ve had with them is getting her to actually use/acknowledge the stairs as she’s not used to them. The stairs could be one step higher for our bed, but our bed does sit high.

Great for elderly or hurt pets
This 4 tier foam dog step stairs is great for elderly dogs, foster kittens or injured dogs. My small dog loves jumping off the couch and bed and occasionally gets her paw/keg hurt. A $500 surprise vet bill isn’t fun. So I decided to purchase her some dog stairs.I purchased a different 3 tier dog step from another seller years ago unfortunately the steps weren’t as easy for her to climb up or down. I provided a photo with both foam step stairs side by side for comparison. These steps actually work perfectly for my dog and my foster kitten. They’re longer in length and slightly taller than my previous one. They have more of a slope that helps her walk up and down without having to “jump” each step.Setting up was pretty easy. It arrived vacuum sealed with the removable and washable cover already on. All I did was take rhe plastic off and it formed almost fully right away. I did leave it over night in the laundry room to air out.Definitely seems durable and looks great in my living room or bedroom. The handle is helpful when moving it around from one room to another. The lint roller is a plus!

Not safe. Definitely needs to be wider.
If you have a dog that’s on the heavier side I would be careful with this. My dog weighs about 30-35 lbs and she runs up this at breakneck pace. The problem is it really needs to be at least six inches wider to be stable for her. I needed the height for her to get up on my bed but I’m afraid she’s going to fall off the side and hurt herself. I’m looking for something better. If your dog is lightweight it should be okay but be forewarned it’s very narrow and if they fall from the top it could cause injury.

    Pup loves her Stairs
My terrier loves these! I praised her so much for using them, she now pauses at the bottom until she is sure I am watching to keep receiving “Good Girl!!!” Very helpful and sturdy without being too heavy.

Getting the Cover on is a Real Workout
These are nice steps and my oldest dog has already used it to get up on the couch, but what a pain to get the cover on. There were, of course, two options for putting on the cover. I tried the path of least resistance for the enclosed part first, but then the zipper part was nowhere near where it should be. The sides of the zipper were a good 8-9 inches apart. I flipped the foam around and stuffed the cover over the other end, but that was really hard to do. I thought this too would fail. It took a LOT of tugging on the cover with one hand and pushing in the foam with the other to get the zipper to work. My hands are actually sore now from doing it. But, I finally got the cover on and it looks nice. I think the manufacturer could spring for another inch or two of material, or cut the foam better.

I used to love these but quality has changed
Not only do these not blow up to the size that they state but the cover doesn’t fit snuggly anymore. Not the same spongy strength . I bought multiple of these like 3, last year and they’re not the same quality as they used to be . This was not my fault however these were very difficult to return and I had to box them in a giant box and was not given even a full month to get them back , i don’t think I’ll ever buy from them again. So disappointed as my dog loved these , she won’t even use them now . Still kept 1 and they don’t use.

Buy this!!! Even for 125lb dogs!!!
So I bought this and was quite skeptical that it would hold up to my biggest dog which is a 125lb pitbull. My bed is quite high because it’s got drawers at the base. And truth be told my 8yr and 13yr old pitbulls (4 of them in total) have been aging. When I switched to a higher bed it was apparent I needed something for them to reduce the stress of jumping up from and climbing down to the cold and slick LVP flooring.I did a ton of research and rating checks. This product had good reviews honestly but I again was skeptical that my heavy weight dogs wouldn’t mush this thing into the floor. Let me tell you the worry was gone after the first week. I’ve had this for months now and it’s held its shape, is stable, has great support and is the perfect height. No assembly required, just pull out of the box and bag and you’re good to go.The bottom has a nonskid surface that keeps it from sliding around. My dogs use this all day everyday with no problems. If you are on the fence, don’t be, just buy it and it will save you the worry!!

    Great for elderly cats!
I had a concern for my 15 year old cat jumping off the bed. After spending many hours of research, I found these steps. The steps came in a compressed package. I am an elderly person myself, but found that the packaging was easy to remove. The steps were fully functional immediately. The material is extra strength and is non slipping. Light enough in weight for an elderly person to move for cleaning or using in other areas. Most importantly, my cat used it from day one as if he had always used steps. I would also like to mention that I have on occasion use the steps myself to climb into my bed due to back problems. Not an eye sore or bulky as other steps for pets. I highly recommend theses steps for cats and small dogs

  9. Doxy Mom

This was a second choice and I was really concerned about the negative comments about the foam not expanding! I reread the information provided by the seller. Two things made sense that I believe was the problem some people were experiencing. So I followed their instructions:1) Leave the foam open to the air…..in other words don’t put the cover on right away.2) It takes 24 – 48 hours to fully expand. Warmer air is better. So I put the foam into my office and turned up the heat to 24c over night. Voila! it expanded and is sturdy beyond what it looked like when it first arrived. This is an excellent product. The foam is obviously newer tech, so those two points above I believe would have changed the negatives to strong positives. Yes its pricey but way cheaper than a vet bill when my Doxy (11) fell! She’s now able to go up and down from the bed safely and so is her 14 year old brother a Chiweenie! It would definitely be a buy again if I needed another one.

The foam takes a while to fill out the material on the stairs. After a week there is no more loose material.
