Clipper that was missing guard number 2
The clipper didnât come with the guard number 2, which I use a lot. I have never bought clippers that didnât come with that guard.

Works well and is relatively quiet
My biggest concern was if it was too loud it would scare my animals, but thankfully it is relatively quiet compared to cheaper clippers I was using, so that is a big plus if you have shifty pets. I wish the cord was a bit longer, but the unit itself and the cord feel like premium materials and hopefully it has the longevity to match the build quality.I appreciate the attachments you get and think you’ll find these work well for almost any hair types, just go slow with matted hair. I wish it was a better case for the cost, the zipper is stingy, and I feel like a hard plastic would be more pet proof. Maybe not the best value initially but if these do hold up over time, I think it will be a worthwhile investment.

This grooming kit is fantastic.I have a long haired cat (named floof ball) and she would get knotted up often and id spend forever with a pair of scissors trying to get her hair cut.Not anymore though.she actually lets me use this on her.It is surprisingly quiet.It cuts hair really easy and I love that it comes with different sized guards so I can get her hair a shorter general length that’s easier for her to maintain on her own.If she does end up with a knotted up spot I can just quickly and easily cut it out without problems.It doesn’t pull or catch on her and has made life much easier.The clippers are comfortable to hold and use.I am really happy that I got this.

Didnât work for us
When we tried to use it on one of our dogs, it wouldnât cut its hair. It seemed to be working fine but just wouldnât cut. Unfortunately for me life got too busy and missed the return cut off.

works well on my shaggy dogs
I have two very large shaggy dogs, and paying a fortune to groom them is not an option for me. I try to do what I can at home. These clippers are the best I’ve tried. The handheld unit is heavy duty, these are definitely pro-quality clippers. They are quiet, so my dogs cooperate when it’s time for a cleanup. They make very quick work of trimming, and my dogs both have really long, thick hair with undercoats, so not all clippers I’ve tried can get the job done like this. I like that several guards are included, so I can do a sanitary area close trim as well as a decent-looking cleanup in other areas where I want to leave their hair longer. I wasn’t sure I’d like the corded option, as I’ve tried several cordless clippers, but honestly the cord doesn’t get in the way and I love not having to worry about battery life or charging them. They are ready to go any time. I love these, and with the amazing quality, I expect these to last a very long time. Worth the investment.
