This is not a cheap dog food. Received the bag was filled with very small nuggets (smaller than normal). A lot of crumbs. It looked like this was the end of the production run. Normally they was bag this as a generic and sell for less. I paid $4 per pound and a lot I will have to throw away as it is not eatable.

After trying many different dog foods, some made my dogs sick, poop all the time etc. I researched and found Core Wellness. Great ingredients and not all the fillers and junk. A food my Chihuahua actually likes
I have a very picky Chihuahua. Getting him to eat is always a battle. I was looking for quality brands and found this. Much to my surprise he liked it and ate it without a problem. It’s also helped keep his weight in check which he needed. All in all a good product that I would buy again.

Unfortunately, my dog has been trying out different dog foods and I didn’t have a regular one to blend in with new foods. So, I had her on home cooked chicken and rice and she did fine. I thought this food would work out, but she won’t touch it. It may be good for some dogs, but my senior girl has not liked any of the healthier foods that I’ve tried. Maybe your dog will like and benefit from this food.
