Great for Watching Dog while at work!
These wotk excellent. Use these for watching my dog while I work. Perception is so good I can see her breathing 12ft from the camera. Able to move around the room easily using the app. I have bought 3 of these. They do require being plugged in to work. No fee after purchase, but do not record data.

Update (3/27/2023) -After using this for a couple of months, I need to bump this down a couple of stars. Anytime it loses power or I unplug it to move to another location the camera loses connection and is completely nonfunctional. The only way to get it to work again is to reset the camera and the reset button is finicky and almost impossible to reset. You’re supposed to be able to reset the camera by holding the rest button for one second. I’ve tried just one second, 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 2 minutes…It takes me about 50 tries to reset it each time. For some reason the most effective way for me reset it is taking out the SD card and clicking the reset button while unplugged and then repeatedly clicking the button while plugging it in. Another issue is that when you walk by the camera quickly, it does not properly track a person. It tracks and moves to slow to catch someone moving by quickly.Original Review (1/29/2023) -At the price of the time of review (~$28), this camera is a steal. It is very easy to set up where you just download an app, scan the camera, have the camera scan a QR code on the app and that’s it. Total process took about 5 mins. Once set up, you can have multiple devices view the camera over wifi. The picture is clear and detailed in both regular and night vision mode. The camera can be controlled and turned via the app. You can pinch to zoom in on the picture in the app. The sound captured isn’t the greatest, but passable. The app is reliable, simple and easy to use where the settings can be controlled. There are IOS, Android and Windows versions of the app. You can set none, one or both detection for motion as well as sound. It also comes with an additional mount to allow you to attach it to a ceiling or wall with screws. Honestly, I can’t think of one negative thing to say about the camera quality or functionality.The only thing I’m weary of is that I’ve never heard of the company before or the app, so I don’t know if this is getting transmitted elsewhere regardless of whether the cloud storage is used or not. I plan to use this as a security camera during my home construction and to use to monitor my kid’s playroom after. I’d be hesitant to put this in a sensitive area like a bedroom or bathroom, but that’s just me.

Great value for the price, or even 2x the price
This is a review of a nice PTZ security camera. As reviewed the camera was about $27. Which is a very good value. What i don’t know is how trust worthy the maker is. The phone app ( i used android version) and associated Windows app seem fine but i can’t vouch for data security or unapproved access to the camera.The product information provided in the Amazon product page is accurate. Product images and feature descriptions are true to capability.I have a couple PZT cameras used to keep an eye on our dogs when we are out. They are several years old and this camera is better than those cameras is every way.- It has a small footprint and is very light.- Video quality is very good.- Wifi supports 2 and 5 ghz.- Night vision easily covers a wide area with a surprising amount of detail.- The app is functional and so far it’s fully available in English which isn’t always the case in some products like this.- Continuous or event based recording can be setup. The supported events are Motion and Human. The human event is very sensitive and even notes a human by a portion of the body being in the frame.- When Human events are active there is also an option for tracking the human. This feature works well and provides a considerable security benefit.- Push alerts can be configured so that when motion and/or a human is detected a notification will be sent to the phone app and MIPC application on a PC.- The Pan/Zoom/Tilt functions well. The Pan range is nearly 360 degrees. There is a stop to the pan at the back of the unit. The Tilt goes from essentially straight up to something like 45 degrees down (guesstimating).The maker provides a cloud based storage option which i didn’t use. This includes a free trial for some months then would be fee based. At this writing cloud service is 2.99 for 7 days looping or 699 or 30 days. 30 days continuous is 24.99/month. I did put a 64GB microSD card in and setup event based recording which worked as expected. The event captures are easily accessible in the phone and PC apps. To save a recording outside of the app requires the PC application be used.The only aspect I wish was different is that when using the SD card you can’t pull the SD card out and get access to the videos. When the SD card is put into a computer the computer thinks it’s not formatted. To save event videos off the camera they must be accessed using the phone or Windows app and saved from there. The videos are there but not in a standard filesystem format. Not a big deal as the app is functional.
