    Manual
So far, so good..readings seem accurate, it has already paid for itself for what the Vet was charging and I can do an EKG anytime.I guess the only bad thing is the manual, it sucks, doesn’t explain much. I had help from a friend that has one and is very happy with it

  2. lina aziz

only the EKG function worked the other probes came broken
unable to reach anyone to help with broken probes and non functional equipment including the Blood pressure

Very easy to use and very accurate when applied properly.
Ok so I’m an RN who has a Siamese cat and needed a device to check her bp at home. I prefer manual bp’s (as nothing more accurate than human eyes, ears, touch). The dopplers too expensive and more for in-patient monitoring so I found this digital one for a fraction of the price of a doppler. The key is to find/purchase the correct size cuff for your pet. Take a measuring tape and measure diameter of your pet’s extremity (see you tube- would be a hind leg or in my case her tail because she is small). It was so easy once i practiced on my finger, shut off audible alerts, and found the artery/pulse with the cuff-you just have to reposition it if you don’t get reading. My kitty so used to it now, I can check her bp when she is napping! The device can do 3 lead EKG, pulse ox (worked well too), pulse, but mostly great for bp’s. I hope this item continues to be in stock because it is so helpful to check a feline’s vitals at home-they get too nervous at the vet’s office. And it is wireless/battery powered and easy to charge via usb cord included. Everything included except neonatal cuffs if you need extra small cuffs. Thank you so much for this device!

No where to purchase replacement parts
I really liked this monitor when it first arrived. It has a small footprint and is easy to use. BP accuracy is good when compared to Doppler readings though sometimes glitchy with cats and small dogs, but that’s fairly typical. The problem is that after only a few months of use in a one doctor/one technician practice, the SpO2 stopped working. It was fine until it wasn’t, and it was over the 30 day return window. I had to pull out my old pulse ox to use along with the Wensuijia. I have been trying to find a replacement SpO2 sensor, but have been unable to source replacement parts anywhere. The purchase price is great for a unit that maintains full functionality, but not for one that breaks after only a few months of light use and with no option other than replacement of the entire darn thing.

    Good For Home Use
Overall this is a great unit. I’m not sure why there are no reviews and others aren’t buying it except for it’s price. There’s another unit available for sale for a lot less, but a vet reviewed it and said it was garbage. There’s also others for three times as much. That’s a vet quality unit and out of our price rage. Our vet said our cat’s blood pressure was around 200 – it needs to be around 130. She wasn’t allowing us into the office because of Covid so we basically told her our cat was probably over stressed. We bought this and his blood pressure has been around 130-150. A more normal range. We found a vet tech to come to the house with the more expensive monitor. Her unit was within 10-15 points of ours. So this unit isn’t perfect – BUT, it will certainly give you a rough idea of your pets blood pressure. If our cats ever jumps to 200, we know a vet visit is in order. Also, there’s not a lot of instructions. There’s a arrow on the cuff that says ‘artery’, we weren’t aware that was a big issue. When the vet tech came in, she told us that it has to be near your pets artery. In a cat, it’s on the inside of their front legs. So, this is definitely worth a purchase for monitoring between vet visits.

    Don’t waste your money!!
Had trouble with working intermittently from day one. Completely stopped functioning after one month. Have been unable to return!! Garbage!!

Accurate reading, easy to use BUT doesn’t store readings
Update: I’m downgrading to a 3 because it does not store any values and the app, which supposedly does, is terrible. I’m very disappointed that it doesn’t store values at this price point, but a $50 machine does.I just had my vet compare this blood pressure machine to their doppler. They were pretty impressed!Doppler: 150 mm/HgWensuijia: 146 mm/HgIt comes with a bunch of cuff sizes. Most are “disposable” but can be reused. I’ve used it myself a couple times and is way easier than the Doppler, which my vet has allowed me to take home over the weekend in the past.I hope it’s a good investment that lasts a long time.

    BP monitor not working
Too soon to give an opinion on this machine. Will give update when new machine arrives. What I can say is that the customer service really backs their product so for that I give a 4 star rating.
