Absolutely perfect
I have 6 feral cats that I take care of. I bought these beds. They are perfectly accessible for the cats. They crawl into the opening with ease. They are beautiful looking. I hide them out with dish soap in the summer and let them dry. They are warm and dry. Bought 6 of them. Could not ask for more.

Good outdoor house, but could be improved
I bought two of these. The first one is great and maintains the shape shown in the photo. The second one does not, but stays slightly collapsed. They need more substantial flooring and sturdier siding. I’ve added a small mat and pillow to both of them. Overall, I’m happy with the first one, but not as much with the second one. I guess it’s luck of the draw on the date of manufacture. I keep it outside on a covered porch, so haven’t tested it for waterproofness.

Simple but Works?
This shelter is pretty small, but cats should fit just fine. Inside is lined with warm material. I liked that the hole is on the small side and isn’t the entire front. I think this will aid in keeping the shelter warm. I left the shelter out in my house and it took my cat a day and a half before he went inside. I think this will work just fine.

Not for outdoors cats
It’s a very cute well made cave I would say and it’s perfect for indoor cats. It’s definitely not suitable for outdoor cats, not sturdy at all. It might fly away with some strong winds. Not recommended as an outdoor cat house but it’s nice for indoor for sure. I end up returning it, because I wanted to have something for my backyard.

Waterproof outdoor cat house
I purchased the Waterproof Outdoor Cat House for a stray cat that visits. The weather is starting to get colder and we wanted to provide shelter for the cat. The house is the perfect outdoor shelter. I like that it is waterproof in case of rain. The inside is very warm and has a soft bedding. The house can also be used indoors. If you’re looking for a durable cat house, I highly recommend this one.

Extra large IS extra large!
I’ve had to buy two of these now. The first one I bought for the feral cats who hang on our back patio. I bought another because the indoor cats were sad once the first one I bought went out of doors. First thing I’d like to note is how big this thing is. I wasn’t expecting it to be as large as it is and that’s a good thing! Our biggest cat, coming in at 19 pounds, fits easily inside of it. EASILY. I bought this large size specifically for the two ferals we have ,as both of them are pretty big. Currently they snuggle in a heated bed on top of the “cat house” we built a couple of winters ago for another feral cat (who is now an indoor cat). The patio covering is quite deep, so they are already out of the elements, but I wanted the boys to be able to get out of the biting cold wind that cranks up here in New Mexico when winter arrives. So I bought this larger house and placed it inside of wooden structure. Well, so far, Shadow and Charlie won’t go in it so I just keep throwing cat nip and treats inside of it, and they WILL go in it, but since they are TNR cats, they are hesitant to set up shop for any length of time. I’m hoping they realize they aren’t going to be trapped and that the swank new house is a good place to be. As I said above, the indoor cats think it’s great. With the offset door opening, they can gain a little more privacy. This cat bed has a kind of thin fleecy thing on the bottom and I would suggest throwing in a little fleece blanket or something like that. I’ve also placed it on a flat memory foam pet bed to give the bottom a little more cushion as opposed to being on the hard floor. NOW to address whether I would put this thing in the direct elements. I would not do it. It has elastic and little “tent” pegs to “secure” it to the ground/lawn, but I place no faith in the pegs or the elastic and I would only put this in an area that is covered or partially covered. I’m quite sure that snow or rain would cause this to collapse and in a very strong wind might be able to take it away if there were no cats inside. I would only use this indoors, or as I said, on a porch or patio with a covering. Your results may vary. So, to sum, I am happy with this, but I’d look for something more rigid if you plan on putting it outdoors unprotected. If that makes sense.

The hidey is large and waterproof. But it comes compressed flat and when it was opened and decompressed it wouldn’t stand up no matter what we tried. Also the padded mat inside isn’t removable so you can’t wash it easily.

It doesnât hold its shape itâs was all squashed and mangled upon opening of the product. Even when I tried to shape it, it would still look mangled.it doesnât sit or look like whatâs been shown in the picture. The picture shown is deceiving.
