It is very easy to use. It is firmly attached to the wall and can hold back dogs of all sizes. The dogs at home will not run around. It is easy to install and the ones without punching are better. It Does its job.It’s not hard to install, and i feel it’s sturdy. It would be perfect to block pets, it still be good to stop a baby, But it won’t work on toddlers when they can figure out how to open it.I would recommend it as it’s easy to open.

I purchased the Babepai Retractable Baby Gates Extra Wide | 55″ Wide x 38″ Tall Dog Gates for Stairs | Indoor/Outdoor Use because our Miniature Aussie refuses to stay off of our bed. I didnât want a regular door style gate that was always in the way or one that had to be put up and taken down any time we needed to use it. I found this and thought it would be perfect. It absolutely has too! I love that you just mount it to one side of the door frame and mount the latch on the other door frame. Anytime you need to gate the door, just pull the gate out and latch it to the other side. The fabric is thick but still can make out shadows on the other side so your pet knows youâre still there and they arenât all alone. The gate itself is very well built and easily keeps your pet/child out of areas they donât need to be in. The gate itself slides easily in and out of its frame and takes just seconds to open/close. Overall itâs the perfect gate for us and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something that works well and still aesthetically pleasing.

Item does not work properly. Doesnât keep my dog behind it but it also stopped retracting so I have to hand roll it to roll it back up. Doesnât work well, and itâs not sturdy. If I return it, Iâm left with holes in my walls that I have to repair?

Value for money
This is the 2nd gate that we have purchased. These do a great job with our dogs. The first one we put across our garage door. It allows us to open the door but keep the dogs in the garage. We installed this 2nd one at the bottom of our basement stairs to keep the dogs from running up the stairs and messing with the cats. These gates are nice-looking, they do a great job of keeping my dogs where I want them, and they are easy to operate. I recommend these if you need a gate.
