Excellent Outdoor Security Camera – Reliable and Easy to Use!
I’m beyond impressed with this! From setup to daily use, it has exceeded my expectations. The picture is crystal-clear, even at night. The motion and sound detection are highly accurate, and I appreciate the instant notifications, which keep me updated in real-time.The weather-resistant design holds up perfectly against rain and all the extreme temperature changes here in Kentucky. Having both Alexa and Google was seamless, and made it a breeze to check my feed using our voice commands. I really do feel much more secure knowing my property is monitored 24/7. Highly recommend this camera for anyone looking to enhance their home security!

    Good luck
Do yourself a favor, try another brand of camera first. I had so much trouble just getting though basic steps and lots of troubleshooting for it to finally never work.First, you have to download and install the Roku Smart Home app on your phone. No problem. Done. Then, you have plug the camera in, unfold the base, and press and hold the very tiny setup button underneath until it says “ready to connect”.Then, after selecting the Outdoor Wired Camera in the Add New Device list in the app, you tell the Roku app you heard it say “Ready to Connect”. So far so good right?Well, next pops up this QR code. I could not get the camera to see it. I moved it closer, farther, angled it, left, right, shade, light. Finally realized the QR code is slightly cut off on the edges. If you look at the 3 black boxes at the corners of the code, you can see they’re not completed/squared off, so part of the QR code is MISSING. Turns out after Googling, it’s a development bug that happens on some phones. Ugh. Ok, no problem, use daughter’s smartphone, hope it doesn’t have the problem.Got a little further. This is after 30 minutes of trying to get the prior steps to work, keep in mind. So this time, it displays properly on my daughter’s phone and I heard “QR code scanned”. Yay.I click Next and wait for it to connect to the network. A little bit of time goes by, and then I hear “Unable to connect to network”. Yes it’s 2.4Ghz. No there’s no MAC filtering going on or whitelisting needed. Yes the pwd is correct. Yes all other devices can connect to the network no problem.Back to Google. Turns out I’m not the only one that has had this happen to. Tried some of the troubleshooting steps (just keep retrying, reset device, make sure phone is on 2.4ghz (it always was), turn off LTE, I could go on and on.Seriously, I must’ve spent an hour trying to get these things to work. I’m done, they’re going back in the box and back to Amazon.Roku, if you read this, have your freaking developers at least fix the QR code display issue on some of the phones. Yes, I have a recent phone, it’s not that old, I just upgraded about 8 months ago. And do something about your software/networking being unable to connect to a basic 2.4Ghz network, or start supporting both 2.4 and 5Ghz bands. This isn’t the year 2004 anymore. This just shows you did not and do not test on enough devices or put enough money into your QA department.

    BEST SECURITY CAMERA 11/10
I couldn’t be happier with the Roku Outdoor Camera for my home security needs. This IP65 weather-resistant camera has proven to be incredibly durable, standing up to various weather conditions without any issues. The 1080p HD video quality is outstanding, providing clear and detailed footage both day and night, thanks to its excellent night vision capabilities.Setting it up was a breeze, and I love that it integrates seamlessly with both Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing me to check on my home with simple voice commands. The motion and sound detection features are highly responsive and have given me great peace of mind by alerting me to any activity around my property. The included 90-day subscription was a fantastic bonus, offering plenty of time to evaluate the premium features, which I found to be extremely useful. Overall, this camera has exceeded my expectations in every way. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their home security with a reliable and high-quality camera!Thank you Roku!!

    Great camera
Had it for a couple days. So far the camera works well. Good motion detection. Clear picture unless you zoom in on something. Set up was easy to do. There is a slight delay between motion and motion capture but it’s not anything bad. The only negative thing I have to say is about the sound quality. When I’m talking to someone, it sounds very robotic. When someone is talking to me back, it cuts out a lot. But other times it seems to work ok. Not sure if that’s an issue with the camera sound or just a connection problem on my end. Otherwise this is turning out great so far. I have been using it inside to watch my dog. He isn’t alone, I just love him and now I can see him all the time.

    Great camera!
Great camera, fairly user friendly. Clear images, good battery life, design of it looks good on my home. The convenience of having it on your tv’s through your Roku is awesome. It’s so easy to use on the tv and all of my family members can easily check the camera without having to put the app on your phone.

    Love them!
Love these cameras I have like 5 already. I bought the year subscription so it’s like 90 bucks for unlimited video and things.I like that you can easily saves videos or send videos to people fast. And I like that you can watch multiple cameras at once. Just group them together in settings.I had Comcast cameras before and these are cheaper and a Lot better!Only con is sometimes it has to reconnect and the audio when talking into it isn’t that great.
