Sturdy, Reliable, Easy to Install
I cannot properly articulate how great this gate is.I live on the second floor, and there is a low set window at the top of our stair well. I have found it difficult to find a gate to accommodate this set up at all. Let alone one that prevents the two dogs from pushing it open, the cats just jumping over it, or the humans losing their patience trying to open/close it.This gate extends far enough and has the adjustable mounting pieces, that I was able to mount it to the uneven surface of siding/window frame. It is nice and secure. The opening/locking mechanisms are easy to maneuver.It provided a great sense of relief that I don’t have to be constantly worrying about the pets escaping and running the neighborhood. AND prevents the neighborhood critters from coming up and eating our trash.

Best thing ever
I bought these to close openings to keep my puppy in one area. It is perfect. He’s never tried to bother it under the fact that you cannot see through it. He doesn’t know what’s on the other side so great great product. I have bought three.

CAUTION: Adhesive will ruin your paint!
Halfway into the installation trying to follow the horribly-written instructions, I realized that we were sent the wrong size gate, and started to disassemble what I had already installed… The brackets installed into the wall use both screws and an adhesive.The adhesive WILL take your wall paint with it! Unbelievably terrible foresight on the manufacturer. Horrible experience overall, both from the seller and from Amazon.

I love them I had no issues putting them up. Keeps 3 of 4 dogs out of room I do not want them in when gone. The 4th dog is a small chihuahua.

Not a gate I would honestly recommend
This gate was easy to install and is aesthetically fine. It seems decently sturdy and does its job of closing off a room or stairway well enough. Be prepared to use both hands, as using this one-handed is not a pleasant experience. When attempting to unlatch in the unlocked position, the gate recoils extremely fast and can easily damage your wall if you are not careful. It also unlatches way too easy, and can be a danger if this were to happen when the gate is not locked. Time will tell if this holds up, but I am reluctant to recommend this gate. 2.5 stars.
