My 15 year old dachshund is totally blind. At first I didnât think this was going to work but with a little patience, it has done very well. He no longer hits furnishings etc.

Better than I could have hoped
It broke our heart when our old Yorkie started bumping into furniture as her eyesight dimmed. Looking at products on Amazon, there seemed to be 2 types of halos — this harness type and a collar type. The latter reviews weren’t good and we opted for this harness type, and I’m glad we did. Fortunately, the halo sticks out in front level with the shoulders, so she can still eat / drink water from her bowl. She’s also able to sleep with it on. It’s easy to snap on and off and after the first few minutes of wear, this hasn’t seemed to bother her. Glad we bought it.

doesn’t sit well
it sits too high on the dogs head. it needs to sit forward as the dogs face hits- not the top of it’s head. good concept but ours did not work

My friend’s dog Tramp went blind lost his eye. He had started stumbling into things and falling off of ramps and beds. I bought him this for Christmas. He’s a little white Maltese and it fits him perfect hardly any adjustments or necessary it is an extra small. He seems to be getting more secure in walking around thinking that he won’t run into something. This stops him right before he gets there. It was easy to put on him in within 5 minutes he was walking around with it on as though it were any other little harness he wears. I just wanted him to have an easier and softer way.
