Installation was easy allowing for great function
I purchased this after trying to install another brand. That other brand requires screw holes to be drilled within a fraction of an inch of the flap opening. Because I couldn’t drill the holes straight and level through a metal door, the two halves would not align.This dog door had no such problem. Instead of screw holes, I just had to cut out a single rectangular hole and slide the door inside. Then I was able to screw the two halves together without a problem. The door works great.

Just what we ordered.
We have installed this on our kitchen door and what a relief it is not to have to get up and open the door all the time. My husband installed it without any special tools needed. Our dog is always on the wrong side of the door. This freedom allows her to come and go out to her pen in the back yard at her and our convenience. We also like the heavy slide in door that blocks the doggy door. Super value.

I have had it for less than a year and the plastic door came off at the screws.

Relatively easy to install. Dogs adapted well to it. Excellent value for the price!

Not worth the money
Flap doesnât fit the frame. Pieces break off. It lasted 3 months and is not energy efficient. Past the return date so stuck. Our dogs are not rough. They donât bolt through the door so it was surprising that it didnât hold up

Less than 48 hours and it is starting to show wear :(Flap closure broken….UPDATE – just little over a month and the flap is completely detached and no long have a working pet door
