Ferret Friendly!!
We LOVE our new backpack for our ferrets! We travel, run, camp, bike ride, etc.. a LOT, and since Iâm a crazy ferret lady who takes them everywhere, this product is perfect for our family! Itâs surprisingly comfortable for me to wear (light and doesnât collapse in on the critters) with my smaller build and short torso, however, the waste and chest straps are small and not ideal for my husband with his more broad chest and wider shoulders. Itâs not too big of a deal since they are roughly 7lbs>< total with all 4 in there soaking wet (lol the wee little bits that they are), and since we generally aim to only have 2, ranging from 3/4lbs to slightly less than 2lbs each, in there at a time, itâs no problem for him to manage without the straps being buckled. Much to my pleasure (and my little creaturesâ distaste) there are clips to ensure they donât get the zipper open and make a grand escape (good sturdy feature! My critters definitely put it to the test on our last longer car ride!)! It only fits 1-2 ferrets comfortably (though all 4 of mine like to sleep in a furry ferret puddle, so weâve had some shorter outings with them all happily snuggled in). I would only recommend to keep the water dish (included with purchase) someplace they canât get it until they get a SUPERVISED drink (they make short work of destroying that), and stuffing ice packs in the pockets in hotter (for them) weather (especially if 2+ critters insist on piling in). It has great ventilation, but with so many little warm critters piled in, it doesnât hurt to take extra precautions to avoid over heating. Weâre getting a second one soon in the hopes our little crazies will be willing to part in separate backpacks for at least some of our adventures! I often find them all in it even when we arenât getting ready to leave the house, so I think itâs safe to say they approve of their new ride as well!

Perfect for Cat Adventuring
I purchased this backpack after a few months of researching. I was specifically looking for something that could be used for car and air travel in addition to bringing along Sinatra for short hikes, outdoor dining, etc.This pack has met all of my expectations.Car Usage: I use two support straps, one to go through the backpack straps and around the seat of the car, and another through the top handles and the headrest of the seat to keep the pack upright and ensure the top doesn’t collapse. It has worked well for our road trips. He can get some share coverage, but can also move around if I leave one side flap open. The front pouch is great for quick access to treats and his water travel bottle.Outdoors: I used this to bring Sinatra along for some outdoors in western North Carolina. It was perfect. in the AirBnB it gave him a comfortable space to retreat to in the house and on the deck. It was also very comfortable for our 2-mile walk to and from a lake. Again the pockets were great, I was able to take his collapsible bowl to put food in and his travel water carrier, so we could relax by the lake.I haven’t tried to use it on a plane with him yet, but I think this is a great buy even if another item is better for flights.

Excellent for Service Animal
I bought this for a slightly different animal than what is advertised. I have what you could call seizures from getting a flesh eating bacteria. On accident we got ducks & I bonded with this one. She can sense the seizure & actually stop it. I needed a way to take her with me. This carrier is very stable. I was worried about having the sides collapse. The reinforced edges prevent this. The wooden base is excellent for keeping a flat surface. Both sides zip completely open and the opening in the top is excellent for interactions. The mesh provides visibility for your friend & airflow. An awesome benefit is the 3 pockets and collapsable water cup. I put wood shavings on top of the bottom for easy poop cleanups & for her to make a little nest to travel. She was nervous at 1st but everytime she goes in, she gets a treat of peas. She loves it. I wear it on my chest so we can interact more & she can alert me if needed. My wife attaches the strap, that normally goes around your belly, behind me. It’s very secure & comfortable wearing it this way. I’ve actually started using it at night next to me in bed. I leave the top flap open. If she’s needed she jumps out and comes to me. If she is not needed she makes a nest & sleeps comfortably. This pet carrier is extremely well made & I would recommend it to anyone.

La mochila es buena y muy práctica pero debe considerarse para perros no mayores a 5 kg de peso. La mochila no cabe debajo del asiento por lo que literalmente tendrá que ir entre tus pies. Para un viaje corto no lo considero un problema pero para un viaje de muchas horas no lo recomiendo. Nuestra perrita es una chihuahua de 3 kg y la mochila nos funcionó perfecto.

Llegó en tiempo y en perfectas condiciones. Está amplia, es resistente está hecha, de material fuerte, no se aguada al usarla sà mantiene su forma y es muy muy bonita. A mi gatita le encantó su primer paseo en ella. Definitivamente excelente compra y lo recomiendo 🙂 mil gracias.

Great product and our kitty loves just hanging out in this even when he’s not on our back. Yes, it is true, the top part can cave down a bit, but it does not bother our guy and I haven’t noticed it touching his head. Lots of ventilation for breathing and so he doesn’t over heat. I also love the features of locking the zippers and being able to attach his collar onto the inside of the actual bag. More than enough room for him (although he is now 6 months young) and we can easily put a blanket in here to keep him warm during the winter months. Plus the bottom half of the pack is not mesh, to help with that added warmth (or shade) . Fabric quality excellent. Well made!
