   Perfect for keeping an eye on my 3D printers!
   I would suggest I am a slightly different use-case of this security camera. But, for the random person who is looking for this sort of use I feel I can offer a lot of positive opinions on this system.I use this camera to monitor my two 3D printers that run sometimes several days at a time. I found its setup and use to be simple and comparable to other cameras I have used in the past. The pan and tilt functionality was very important to me to be able to not only see the print itself, but the screens to make sure temps are correct, or see how much filament I have remaining on my spools. So far I am very pleased with the camera which has worked well both in day and when my office is shut down in pitch black. Very pleased overall with the picture quality and the value for money is absolutely reasonable.I saw in another person’s review that they struggled with all the advertising for cloud services and additional ads within the app, which is certainly true. But, I can say with confidence that I have tried several different brands and they all carry that same stigma/situation and all closely follow the same mold.This camera gets a 5/5 for functionality, ease of use, extra mount for hanging (including a template for screw placement), and reasonable app use.Pro tip: If you don’t read the manuals… The SD card slot is on the bottom of the glossy part of the camera, tip it up and it will come into view. I did struggle to insert the card on my unit but it did go in with a tiny bit of fiddling. The reset button for the camera is directly next to it.

   This review is for the Alaga Indoor Security Camera, 3K, 360° Pan & Tilt, AI Pet Detection, Night Vision, Speaker, Works with Alexa & Google Assistant, 5G & 2.4GHz WiFi, Black. I originally got this camera to put in my crawl space to keep an eye on my water pipes and on other stuff going on under the house. But the video quality and response is better than some of the security cameras I have so I decided to use it near my front door instead. At first, I had some difficulty with getting the camera added to the “CameraCam Pro” app. I loaded the app on both my Android phone and Ipad. The camera would connect to the wireless network but for some reason it wasn’t connecting to the App servers. Customer support was fantastic. I emailed the customer support and they were very responsive. I did send them some log files from the camera and they were able to fix the issue and the camera connected. Again great customer support, they communicated very well. After setting up the camera I put it near the front door. I was able to connect it to Alexa and get video feeds in that app. Google home did recognize the camera but it required a google display “ie Nest Screen, ChromeCast” to actually see the video stream so I wasn’t able to test that. I don’t have a google device. After checking the specs, it shows the device connects to a google speaker for voice commands I’m not able to check that. The night vision works great and the motion detection as well. There is a subscription service for cloud storage and/or it has a SD card for local storage. I did get the subscription service and when I get an alert that someone is at the door I also get the video of what the alert was about. Overall I”m very happy with the camera and the customer service and would order again.

   Couldn’t get it set up for my needs
   I selected this camera based on the reviews. I was unable to get it set up to not monitor during the morning and evening hours while we are home. I was not able to get it set up to monitor our pets noises to alert me in case my pet has a seizure while we’re not home. I was unable to get it to link to my phone. I did not think that the App was very user friendly. Due to all these issues I did not spend my time trying to get their support, I just decided to return. It is probably a good camera for someone that can get it set up for their specific needs, but it did not meet mine.

   Plenty of applications in today’s world
   This review is for Alaga Indoor Security Camera,3K, 360° Pan/Tilt, Human/Pet/Motion AI, Night Vision, Speaker, Indoor Camera with Phone App, Compatible with Alexa & Google Assistant,5G & 2.4G WiFi,BlackI’ve been using a camera to keep an eye on my pets when I’m gone. However, it doesn’t have sound, so I’m neither able to hear them nor speak so they can hear me. I got this camera because I wanted that capability. I don’t have smart speakers (Echo, Google Home, etc) in the space in which I’m using the device, so I can’t attest to that functionality. I’ve been using the SD card to store the clips locally when needed.The video is of surprisingly good quality, better, in fact, than the Blink cameras around the outside of my property. The detection of movement is superior as well, picking up more quickly when a pet moves into the field of view. That is, with the outdoor cameras, the feed starts when someone/something is halfway across my yard, but with this product the recording begins immediately.I didn’t have any issues setting the product up, but again, I didn’t connect to anything but my phone, which was quick and intuitive.I highly recommend for anyone wanting to keep an eye on pets and communicate with them. The product is also a must-have for anyone who subscribes to in-home or in-garage delivery or for people who regularly have services (cleaning, repairs, etc.) in their home.
