Finally, a free standing ramp for big dogs
My dog is a 5 year old, 120lb Bernese Mountain Dog. For years, I have tried different stairs and ramps for him, and just gave up. I prefer a ramp as stairs over time will be hard on his joints. But most ramps had to rest on something, or they were slippery. I need the ramp for my bed, which sits up high. I could never get a ramp to rest secure enough for him to feel comfortable. These big dogs get big scared over everything. I eventually gave up on the ramp and settled for some kitchen chairs/makeshift Γ’ΒΒstep upΓ’ΒΒ, but he is starting to struggle with that. So I ordered this ramp.This ramp has carpet and ridges for traction. It adjusts in height and can reach to the top of my bed. ItΓ’ΒΒs freestanding, so it doesnΓ’ΒΒt need to rest on anything. And itΓ’ΒΒs sturdy. I have it placed between my bed and the wall, so he canΓ’ΒΒt fall off the sides. It is not super wide, but having it wedged makes me comfortable.It took 3 days for him to get fully comfortable using it without treats. Do not let them step on it until you know it wonΓ’ΒΒt wobble. If it wobbles, it will scare them and they probably wonΓ’ΒΒt use it. I positioned the ramp and got high value treats. I walked up the ramp myself (I am under the weight limit) and encouraged him to follow, and gave him lots of praise and treats when he did. I did the same to get him to come down.At bedtime the first night was more of a struggle. I have a small light next to it so I know he could see it. But he did try to get down without using the ramp. I had to stop him and get out of bed, and walk down the ramp with a treat to show him it was safe.The second night he didnΓ’ΒΒt need treats. He climbed up on his own but I gave him treats and praise. He hesitated when he went down, but he did it.The third night, he used it up and down without issue or hesitation.It weighed less than I thought it would and folds up nicely. I could use it if he needs help in the car.Very happy with this purchase!

Good buy
Good quality, well built and easy to set up. My 56 pound Amstaff injured her right rear ACL which makes it difficult for her to jump and to get up steps. She is able to go up and down the ramp with no issues. The ramp is very sturdy and there are rubber pads on the bottom which prevents it from sliding. Very satisfied with the ramp.

Quality and adjustable ramp
This is a quality well built ramp, itΓ’ΒΒs easy to use and allows access for higher furniture such as beds. It allows compact storage when not in use and my dog learned how to use it quickly. The carpet is a little slick but it works.

Very nice ramp
This ramp is very high quality. Unfortunately, my dog is terrified of it and I can’t get her to use it. My cat loves it though and uses it to get in the window and it’s become a gigantic scratch pad for her. I would have given it 5 stars if I’d been able to get my dog on it.

VERY VERY NICELY MADE. LIGHT & STRONG. GOOD QUALITY ALL AROUND
This is a very nicely made & designer product. I have nothing but good things to say. The ramp was used without the “legs”, resting on 2 steps. Good quality construction overall. Thoughtful additions, like a extra latch installed for quality when it easily could have need left off. I would recommend & buy again.

Not the best for small/medium dogs.
When using at full height extension, is unstable. My dogs are not fond of the padding material. They have a hard time getting a grip.
