Much, much better than a rear view mirror!
Being a new grandfather, I wanted to give my son the best way to keep an eye on my new granddaughter without using those hard-to-see rearview mirrors like he the one he had already installed. I found this product after searching through others trying to find the best one. For a decent price, this product came with two cameras and two monitors, which can be used to watch multiple babies in one car or separate cameras in both of their vehicles.When the box arrived, I found that each camera/monitor combination was in their own box inside with all of the installation equipment and wiring. Note: These cameras and monitors are “wired” not wireless, so I temporarily hooked them up in his vehicle to see how they worked. I also borrowed my granddaughter’s doll while she took her nap.The instructions are very clear and easy to understand with photos to help. I also included my own photos to show this product. One very good item I found was that if your vehicle is newer and doesn’t have a cigarette lighter for the product’s power adapter, you can contact the company for a USB adapter.The wires connect to a longer set in order to reach the back seat area for camera placement and the connections are clearly different to avoid plugging in the wrong wires together. The camera wire also has a white wire that is looped outside of the connector for changing the view. The regular, or normal view with this wire intact as it was received, has the monitor and camera “mirror” each other when the car seat is “rear facing”. If you decide to change that view when the car seat is turned around to “forward facing”, you simply snip that wire and tape the two ends away from each other. This action can be reversed by reconnecting the white wire again.The monitors hook to a plastic plate, that in turn attaches to a suction stand to attach to your front windshield or dashboard. Once everything is connected, there is nothing more to do other than turn the unit “on” to produce a clear view of the baby, or babies, if you position the camera to be able to view more than one infant.I was very happy with this product, as was my son and daughter-in-law. The view is so clear, you can easily see what the baby is doing or if they are in any kind of distress. I highly recommend this product and do away with those mirrors that keep you guessing as to what is going on.

Great product/ multiple applications
I purchased this camera because I wanted to monitor the back seat where my two grandchildren set. I drive a minivan and the seats behind the driver and passenger seat sit a little bit lower than what I could see over my shoulder or with mirror. I purchased these cameras and a work perfectly, not only can I see what both of them are doing at the same time I can still looking forward keeping my eyes on the road. I started out by laying the product out on the table so I could familiarize myself with the cables. Cameras attach easily to the headrest regardless of what style you have, The cables are long enough to reach from monitor to camera but not so long that they’re tangled and in the way. The connections are simple and straightforward . There will be no need for tech support with this item. Monitor is clear and user friendly , powered by cigarette lighter adapter in your car so no permanent installation or wire splicing needed. There are other applications This could be used for, I realized as I was pulling the small trailer with my power wheelchair attached I could use this camera to monitor the trailer without having to worry if something was loose or one of the straps came off. This is just a great item to have and for a great low price.
