This was a purchase made to keep our little Yorkie from going upstairs. Works fantastic!This unit was nicely packaged and came with spare screws and items to install. Installing was super easy. I used a power drill, pencil and level. Follow the directions and youâll have it up in no time. The size is perfect and itâs quite stable. Stability is great! Itâs solid and a great value for the money.The gate slides open and retracts nicely and stays locked into place great. The material is well put together and was an excellent choice. Great for small dogs, kids!
sometimes I want to carry laundry down the hall and not open and close a gate, so this lets me easily step over, and if I need to, it unclips and rolls itself up. I now bought 2 and get comments about them all the time!

20 Inch Tall x 80 Inch Extra Wide Retractable Dog Gate to Step Over
This is just the right size for keeping small dogs out of certain areas of our house without having to add in a full on gate system that would require me and my husband to open and close each time we need to pass by. This is the right height for being able to step over, while still being a functional blocker for the animals. Even our toddler can manage this one. Very easy to install as well!

Perfect For My Uses
I am a pet/baby gate maniac as I am currently trying to baby and pet proof our whole house. I really like the ease of install of these retractable gates. They are super nice to get out of the way when not in use. I tuck them behind furniture or doorways so that we can just pull them out and all you see is the little clips on the wall when not in use. I like these shorter ones because my wife and I can step over them but our older dog respects the gate. My little one also can’t quite make it over them yet so it keeps him back a little when working on home improvement projects and the like if he wanders off from my wife.This gate is nice because it is wider than my other ones. It comes in at around 80inches wide versus around 50-55 for some of my other normal height ones. I like that it is reinforced as it is so long without the reinforcement it wouldn’t be able to hold up to my little one pulling on it. I also like that it has the adjustable bottom so I can mount it a little higher than our baseboards and not put a hole in those. The little clip for the middle I am not sure I would recommend using as you drill into your floor to use it as they describe. Maybe if you used a stick on but even then we have hardwood and it might pull off the finish. The walls are not as big of a deal as I can just patch and paint them after my kiddo is older.Overall this gate has been great for my uses but just know going in that it is shorter so realize the height compared to a normal one.

Works as expected. Kind of pricey
Perfect height for what we needed.We did not need anything nearly this long, but we got this to be installed on top of a step to block our dogs, the combined height of the 20″ gate and the stair step is enough to keep our dogs off the stairs and is easy enough for us to step over. We also have to mount it on an awkward wall that isn’t tall enough for a standard pressure fit baby/dog gate, so the gate we’ve been using is constantly falling over. This gate may not work for alot of dogs since it is quite short for most uses, but we have a smaller dachshund/beagle mix who’s too short to escape and an Australian Shepherd who doesn’t bother trying to get out when we block them in our kitchen. So, for our purposes, it works great. We have other taller gates like this in our house, so, install was very easy. My only negative is, this gate is priced at almost double what we paid for our other taller gates (different sizes). I recieved this as a vine product, but I would not want to pay that much for the gate..
