Mixed Thoughts
For the price, the metal components are pretty thin. If you accidentally kick this thing, or if your dog is a mutant beast that might hammer inanimate objects, I could see this denting really easily. That said, it’s large, holds a lot of water, and all the parts fit nicely together. It’s easy to assemble, it runs quietly, and it maintains a nice level of water in the upper bowl area. When assembling it, the small pump and motor apparatus hangs inside the water reservoir, and this is attached to a sort of rubber tube with a widening tip which is supposed to hold itself securely in the upper lid, as it hangs suspended in the water reservoir, below the rectangular metal bowl on top. As I put this together, I got the feeling that the pump could easily dislodge and fall down into the reservoir, below. This would stop the bowl from filling with water, and you would have the electric parts submerged even deeper than intended. Also, as this sets on the floor, the power cord runs up the wall to wherever you have it plugged in. It isn’t the best look, and it doesn’t make me feel great with my roughhousing dog being right next to this cord whenever he drinks. He did use the bowl right away , and he seems to like the flowing water, but in summary, I am apprehensive about fully trusting / relying on this device because 1) the potential for the pump assembly to slip off of this rubber connecting tube, 2) the cord being so prominent (unless you set this up right next to an outlet at floor level), and 3) a power outage means your dogs won’t have water unless you leave backup bowls out, just in case.It works. It is quiet. The metal is really thin. I could see the pump slipping off. I like it, and it does what it’s supposed to, but I have long-term doubts.

Perfect for bulldogs
I bought this because I wanted my boys to have a fountain of fresh filtered water that had a large bowl capacity so I could reduce filling their water to twice a day. If you have bulldogs you know about the drool that lays at the bottom of the bowl. This system filters the water to prevent that film from forming on the dish that drink from. The fountain is lovely and quiet and the entire design of the bowl is easy on the eyes and built to last since it is stainless steel. When I replace the water I rinse it and once a week it goes in the dish washer for a good cleaning. The light level is not something I would want in my bedroom but itâs perfect for my kitchen and I like that it provides a little light in the evening.

When this came in the lid didn’t sit flat or stay on. It is quiet, And it has more than enough water capacity for a large dog. The fountain worked fine. But sadly because of the lid not staying in place, I don’t use the fountain part and just use the container for water.

An extremely good value in a stainless steel filtered water bowl
Our dogs used to use a plastic water fountain that was filtered, and it did fairly well. The main problem with that unit was that the pump outlet and the fountain tube rarely aligned well. Thereâs no such issue with this fountain, as the pump is free floating and connected via a silicone tube, which is bendable. 3 gallons of water is a huge increase from what we were using before, which was about 1 gallon.Weâve gone from filling the bowl multiple times in a day, to only having to fill the bowl every 2 to 3 days. Itâs not extremely well defined how full the container is in via the blue light inside. That said, itâs easy enough to tell when the water is low, and the blue light has disappeared. We are confident that this stainless steel container will look better overtime than the plastic one we had previously.We are very happy with this bowl, and the dogs have easily excepted it. I even like the fact that you can quickly refill this one as compared to our previous where it was a full two minutes to get a extra gallon of water down the return pipe. For this fountain, I can pour a whole gallon of water into the top and have it filter through in less than a minute. I do highly recommend this fountain, and will update my review if any gremlins show their heads.

I have never owned a dog or cat dish that is flowing like this before, usually it is a stainless bowl and it needs to be replenished daily, this dish offers great capacity and filtration, which makes things a bit easier.Like mentioned this thing has a large capacity, this is great so you do not need to refill daily depending on your pets. The construction is all stainless steel with the exception of some of the pump parts, this is also very nice when it comes to durability and cleaning.The assembly is very easy, just need to ensure you wash everything before use. The operation of the motor is silent, I can’t hear anything, it also does not draw much when it comes to power, I think maybe 5W.Adding the filtration is very beneficial as the dog tends to get the dish full of debris and hair, the constant movement and filtration will ensure he gets a much cleaner drink. The motion of the water is not intimidating at all, the dog had no issue with approaching this dish, the flow is very subtle, he tends to now go for the swirl portion of the dish, he was last seen drinking like a camel after a outside run around lol.I see they offer replacement filters on the same page which is great!The only things that came to mind that seemed like a possible negative was the silicone tube, it did seem to me like it would be so easy to fall off, but it has so far stayed in place, just maybe would of liked to see something to secure it further.Overall, it is a nice stainless construction, silent pump, low wattage, filtered and the doggo approves, so I will have to recommend ðð

My hubby decided to get this for our pup which I wasn’t really on board with to begin with because this is a boujee water fountain for dogs. This is a 12L extra large capacity water fountain that comes with a full stainless steel construction, it is very easy to clean given the stainless steel construction, has a multi layer filtrations system and a swirl design that makes sure to filter out dirt, hair and any other debris.There is some assembly required to make this fountain function, you have to assemble the filter system – it is relatively simple to put together and the instructions are easy to understand however the most frustrating part for me is that when you need to change the water you have to unplug the power cord, when you have to reconnect everything back up – trying to connect the filtration tube to the lid, trying to keep it connected when it goes into the water, sometimes it come disconnected and you cannot keep it plugged in because the force of the filtration makes it hard to connect everything so this is a very annoying thing.The issue above aside this holds so much water that it takes weeks for my dog to go through it – another slight annoyance is that there is a small see through window that shows you how much water is left in the basin however it is very hard to see, I have to literally shine my phones flash light into it to see the level – it’s very hard to see the level with the naked eye – I would love to have seen this improved, have it more clear or maybe a little light – just something to make knowing the level of water a lot easier to see.Since this is a powered unit, some might be concerned about the noise of it but I am here to tell you it is so minimal that you’ll not even notice it – it’s just like a very low running water fountain sound, it gets slightly louder as the water level lowers but again very minimally, I forget that it’s even there sometimes. The best part about this is that my dog loves it – I mean absolutely loves it, she drinks to much more water with this and I think that’s because it’s always being filtered so that it tastes like brand new water all the time and that’s important to me that she’s drinking enough, for me it’s that I don’t have to keep changing the water multiple times a day.It might be expensive and it is a luxury item meaning you for sure don’t need it but man does it ever make a big difference – I thought it would be a stupid item but I’ve come to really love it and glad we have it for my pup, if you can get over the price tag then I would highly recommend it.

This is a gigantic fountain mainly for dogs, the swirling motion of the water makes it very quiet as there’s only the hum of the motor and no water sounds. The capacity is quite large and would be enough for even a large dog for multiple days at the minimum. The fountain body is stainless steel but the water will always contact plastic as the filter housing, pump, and spout is plastic.I have some complaints about the mechanisms though. The pump is just loosely fit onto the spout and fell off a couple times when trying to assemble it. Plus the pump’s cord is just routed from inside the water to the back of the fountain, it’s much more annoying than battery powered fountains to handle. Plus the gigantic black bar on the top is purely for decoration as it’s just a very tiny spout that redirects water going up to the side. Cleaning that bar is also difficult as there’s no way to disassemble it, luckily the water channel is extremely short so I can just spray disinfectant/cleaner into it. A minor nitpick would be it’s nearly impossible to see the water level unless you shine a light through the window.Overall it’s a pretty good fountain, the extreme price is because there is quite a lot of stainless steel.

I have 7 dogs myself, and I foster 6 more pets for a rescue, so having a large water station is a must. I love that this filters the water as well as irrigating it. It does indeed hold 12 liters of water. Before I was filling up their old fountain 2 or 3 times a day, now I fill it once every 2 – 3 days. Thats a big difference, and time saver. I love that it is stainless steel, and is really easy to keep clean. All the animals have no issues drinking from it, and because the water is filtered, they drink from this one all the time now, compared to the bowl of water they had before. Overall a great product that I will recommend to others.
