Absolutely awesome item!
I have two Boston terriers that have very short legs and this has made their climb up to the couch super easy and comfortable. It came out of the box and very quickly expanded to a shape. It is sturdy enough to hold my 30 pound Boston terrier yet soft enough for their little feet. Absolutely love this item.

Not the same as the picture
We received the steps and followed the instructions of letting the inner foam take shape. The foam never took shape and the foam doesnât fit the cover. Not sturdy hopefully whomever else orders it gets the inner foam that fills the cover.

The foam never fully formed into sturdy steps. I stuffed the pieces into the cloth covering and zipped it to form the full staircase. My dogs didn’t want to use it, because it wasn’t firm enough. I think if the manufacturer finds a way to make the foam stiffer, it would be great. the company reached out to me, asking how they can improve, which I found to be great. Anyone willing to try and improve a product is caring and reliable. I did send it back and got a full refund.

Nice, stable steps but one drawback
What is this item?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~These are high-density foam pet stairs. I chose the 3-step stairs, which measure 23.59″D x 15.7″ W x 17.7″ H.Why did you choose this item?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I have been trying different pet steps for my cats now that they are older. They have some health issues, including joint pain, so they need a little help. I chose these steps mainly because of their little side handle and lightweight nature.What is good about this item?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~A non-slip pad prevents movement, and this is nice. I had some steps like this that didn’t have the grips, and it was such a hassle when they would move, so I love this feature.I also like that the fleece cover can be machine-washed. Many others can only be spot-cleaned, so I like the idea that I can thoroughly wash it.The wide width makes these steps a nice fit for senior cats with arthritis like mine.My favorite is the little handle that is on the side. I have often needed to move these steps in the past, perhaps to another piece of furniture or the other side of the bed, and the addition of this little handle is ingenious for that purpose.What could be better?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I did not fully understand that when the steps arrived, the cover would not be on them. I struggled to get it on as someone with dexterity issues and diminished upper body strength. I thought that you just opened the vacuum bag and let it sit for 24 hours; I wish it were clear that you must put the cover on before using it. I knew the cover was removable to be washed, but I did not know I would have to put it on myself initially. I wish this had been made more evident.I realize I have a unique situation, but it’s essential to mention it because many people need to consider this type of thing before they choose the things they buy. Just What We Needed For Our Little Old Pack
We had been using straight wooden stairs that was OK but some of our little old guys weren’t always comfortable using that method. Here though after a couple of hours it was almost like they made it a game to try them out. The comfort level that they have with the sturdy but soft stairs plus the rounded off steps seemed to give them a boost of confidence. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out to give or Guys a comfortable alternative to be able to join us up on the bed.

Perfect for my cat
My 14 year old cat loves to sleep with us, but after upgrading to a high bed he just can’t jump up any longer (instead he yells at me until I pick him up, which at 2am I’m not happy about). These steps have been perfect and he’s so much happier (as am I). They take about a day and a half to fully expand (picture 1 is when I first put everything together out of the box and picture 2 is approx 36 hours later). The material is nice – it will definitely hold up to his nails. I also like that this is more step like than a previous one I had that was more bumps instead of steps, if that makes sense. Putting together was very easy as well – everything is zippered, and it has a wide open zipper space, not just a small area where you have to shove it in and hope it’s in right. The whole base opens and you can easily place it how you need. Overall I highly recommend this!

Terrible product
The foam never expanded to fit the cover. They are lopsided.
