We have a jumper in the house and so we needed something taller to block off the hall to the back of the house. This is tall enough that she thinks twice and doesn’t jump. The fact that it’s retractable is good to since it’s in a hallway and we have to pass though pretty often. We can just open it up and get to where we’re going. No worries about stepping over and tripping and no weird pass through with difficult latches. It feels quality made, a good choice.

Reinforced baby gate
This is an extra tall baby mesh gate. It is a little different from traditional mesh gates because it comes with reinforcement bars. Once installed, it seems a lot more sturdier than the mesh gates that donât have the reinforcement bars. The baby gate requires drilling holes in the walls. If that is not what you intended to do, a pressure-mounted metal gate might be a better choice. The installation is straightforward and not too difficult to do. It fits where I need it and works well for the purpose.

I was a preschool teacher for many years and am a parent and pet owner.These gates are a godsend for all three of those. Not having to deal with clunky gates you have to move and put back over and over again is so nice.The retractable ones look so much better too!

Excellent baby/pet gate
HIDOG 47″ Extra Tall Retractable Baby Gates, Extends to 59″ Wide, Extra Tall Retractable Safety Gate is easy to install, you don’t need a pro to install it; reinforced through the gate to make it very sturdy; pretty color and it is taller. Bonus it works in any width under 59 inches. Using it while I replace my door to a pantry where I store my pet food. Cats and dogs can’t get inside the pantry since they can’t jump over or go under the gate. Worth the very affordable price.
