Amazing dog door!
This review is for the Aluminum Large Dog Door for Exterior Door,Strong Double Magnetic Flaps,Heavy-Duty Dog Door for Large and Medium Dog Up to 120LBS (Smoky Gray, Large).I see I get the honor of the very first review. So this is the best dog door I’ve ever seen! Our entire big backyard is fenced in for the dogs. I’ve never put a dog door up before because I didn’t like the build of them, the flaps always ended up going all wonky curling, they don’t seal up well against the weather and aren’t secure for obvious security reasons… This dog door is diff! How did nobody think of this before?!!! It looks as though this is a well thoughtout, designed, and executed product, even though it’s aluminum it’s heavy and weighs in at just shy of 11.3 Lbs!I got this in the smokey gray color, which is also a welcome change from most others being white. I love this has the diff locking mechanisms on the doors, PLUS the slide in solid full panels! The doors are really nice with each half being batwing/saloon type swinging that work well with good heavy duty springs for opening/closing. They swing both directions for them to go in/out. The locks will allow you to decide when to allow you dog to have free access, provide weather proofing, better security, and prevent critters from gaining unwanted access to your house, garage, kennel…!I’ll be building an arctic access for out back enclosed patio which is where out sliding glass doors from the living room lead to, and is where the dogs go in/out to the backyard. Right now I just have a heavy duty tarp across the entrance with bungee cords done so the lower right corner is a flap, they have learned to push it open for going in/out just fine. But it has still allowed air/snow to be whipped onto the patio there. I can now use this dog dooor to build a safe weatherproof entrance in a door on the arctic entrance! Super happy with this!It also comes with a templet to help for the installing process. It;’s adjustable depending on your door thickness. Look at the pics down in the listing as you need to make certain you properly measure how high to do the install for the height of your dogs. Like 2 of my dogs are big rotties, the 3rd is a short but stout little silkypoo mix female. If I only install the door for my big dogs it’s going to be too tall at the bottom for her to easily get out. Well made – unique design
Review for: Pataplus Aluminum Dog DoorThis is rather a unique design, with two actual doors instead of a flap. This doggy door appears to be well-made with an aluminum frame. The doors themselves seem to be made of some sort of rigid plastic, and they are fairly thick which would offer some insulation from the weather. There are two tabs on each door that slide up or down to lock the door in the closed position. There are also two plastic panels that slide into place to totally close off the doors from the inside and outside.The only negative, I ordered the Medium size for our Boston Terrier and the width of the opening at 11.5″ is a little wider than I would like – a child or small adult could fit through.

Dog doors with people in mind!
Dog doors Everly changed in the past few years. This dog door is absolutely amazing. We have very large dogs and itâs hard to find something that they would fit through and the seals used to get really cold in the flaps would never hold air. These are absolutely game changers in the new style the door swing side to side, and they seal very well. They also seal on the inside and the outside as it keeps the cold out my dogs adjusted quickly and really like to use these. It keeps you from having to get up and down often. Installation was a breeze, and this dog door is extremely time saving.

Secure large dog door
I really like this dog door, it’s nice and wide and looks really nice. I have two large dogs that try to run through the single flapped dog door at the same time. I like that this one is a double door and that the quality is really nice. It was easy to install and has really nice features that allow you to lock it for security. I think that this dog door works really well and has been an upgrade for my dogs.

Dogs are way more comfortable with this door
I had a smaller standard large dog door for my 50lb dogs and they will use it but its still tight. This door is much bigger and comfortable for them to go through. Its installed in my breezeway so there is some double door airlock stuff going on between the house and the breezeway which cuts down on heat loss. Works well as a secondary dog door to the outdoors. I still like having my 3 layer insulated version on the house but this allows easy access from there.

Game changer.

Can’t wait to get this installed
This is PERFECT. Strong construction. Love the doors. Great size. This will be replacing the door we have installed. The flap of the old one seems to have bowed, not closing the opening completely. This door will add security due to the doors instead of a flap. Good item at a good price point.

Heavy Duty Door
This dog door is very good made with heavy duty aluminum and cool flaps that look good and work better than the original ones.Itâs not necessarily easy to install but doable, especially since you get a template.ITâs weather proof and and good deal for a large door.
