Cheaper than Dollar Tree!
These are my preferred bags, not only are they super affordable but they get the job done. Yes, they’re a little on the thinner side but not nearly as thin as the Dollar Store ones. It’s thick enough to where it doesn’t feel like you’re touching dog droppings with your bare hands which was the issue with the other brands I tried.I’ve never experienced any problems using these bags, they can hold up as well even on long walks. I’ve only tried 2 other brands (which were at the same price point) aside from this one. The sticker comes right off the 1st bag, they pull out easily and you can tear off the bag without feeling like it’s going to rip in half. I’ve never gotten the scented ones so I can’t make any comments on that. Plus it comes with a little bag dispenser with a clip for when your on the go!I did the math on if I were to get this many at the Dollar Store and these are WAAAY cheaper and WAAAY better quality.

Serves the purpose
I have ordered these a few times now, and only once have I actually received bags that were scented. At that, it was a very light powder scent, when I ordered the Mango scent. I can’t speak on the compostability, but the quality is great, I don’t ever have an issue with holes, and they are ease to seperate. I have plenty of bag holders, but additionals are always great to keep handy. I keep spares in my car, purse, emergency bags, etc. Personally, I could careless about a bag that I’m using to pick up dog waste and throwing away. Other than the scent issues, these bags are great. Great price. I’ll continue to buy them.

Couple of better features than other brands!
UPDATE: I’m not sure how many rolls I’ve used so far, but shortly after I wrote this review, I found a few bags in my roll which were sealed on the opposite side of the “open end”. That wasn’t a big deal except when I was surprised by my dog on a walk & I needed one which caused a lot of fuss on my part when I couldn’t open the bag. After finding a few bags sealed on the wrong end, I ended up with a bag sealed on both ends so it couldn’t be opened. After that bag, all of the bags righted themselves & they opened correctly. I’m not sure if this is going to happen again. I took away a star for the aggravation prior to discovering what was wrong with my bags, but this wouldn’t deter me from buying the bags again as long as it doesn’t become a frequent occurrence.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I retired recently so instead of 1 dog walk a day, I’m now walking 3 times per day. I’ve always used plastic shopping bags that are free, but my cats & their litter boxes have to share so with 3 dog walks a day, I needed more bags. Amazon Basics was the 2nd set of bags I purchased and this is what I noticed…First, the price was competitive at 2 cents per bag.Secondly, the spot to rip the bag from the roll has a white stripe. When it’s dark outside, it can be difficult to see where to pull & rip. This white stripe is much easier to see than a “lack of print” to show were the perforation may be on other branded bags.Thirdly, the bags seem to slide open more easily between your fingers, even when it’s cold. I seem to have a heck of a time opening plastic bags.Finally, the bags seem to spin in the opener a lot more easily than my other branded bags when it’s time to pull a bag out. I have no idea what makes them spin more freely as I didn’t actually use the holder from Amazon yet since my other brand’s holder still works fine. Regardless, it’s nice.In the end, the bags do what they need to do to dispose of your dog’s waste politely, but I appreciate the “extra” features on these bags.

The smell of these bags isnât overpowering but enough for a long walk to not induce gaggin lol! Super functional for all holders and sturdy so no ripping! Love these as an affordable option to other brands!
