What an upgrade! Beautiful picture!
Wow! I must say I am impressed with this new model. The ease of setup alone makes this a worthwhile purchase. The app works perfectly and makes it so easy to set up the scheduled feedings. The bin holds a huge amount of food, I only have to remember to refill it! The camera works great, in both daylight and night vision settings, giving a clear picture. Can set up motion detection to capture animals feeding and even my sneaky little yorkie getting into the cats food ð I would not hesitate to recommend this feeder. Only thing I noticed was one of my cats being scared of the red lights that come on when it detects motion at night, but she is getting used to it.

Clear Picture and easy to use
This product was easy to install. Downloaded the app, opened and it connected to WiFi and it was ready to go! Easy to set up and takes a minute to navigate app but was fun to poke around on and figure it all out. Make sure you run a couple feedings so the kibble gets into the holes and disperses the right amount. You can set what days to feed, time, amounts at that time, and can even push a button to feed right at that moment. You can set to go off any time motion detection, when feeding is performed, and can record or take a picture when you watch your pet! Dispersal is quiet and all you hear is the food being falling into the container in a sliding motion. Build is secure, if tipped, the lid doesn’t come off and it doesn’t fall apart. Size is compact to not get in the way either when placed on the floor. Can secure to wall to avoid tipping from happening. Great purchase and would get again if this one ever breaks down!

Totally worth it! Absolutely love this pet feeder! Itâs so nice and having access with the camera, sound, the app, the functionality!! honestly this is life changing. I couldnât recommend this product more and am so happy with the size! It even fits on this wooden crate I have with the water bowl. Super modern looking as well and it came with its own wall plug!!! Super easy to connect the app! Food capacity is perfect amount! I also very much so enjoy the way it is built and how easy it is to take apart and clean and then put back together! Super happy cat and super happy cat mom! Portions are also on point!

Well Designed Feeder With Camera & Phone App
We ordered a Yakry pet feeder about a year-and-a-half ago and it has worked flawlessly. We ordered this new version to have a backup because we depend so much on this feeder which has essentially raised one of our kitties. This feeder is identical to our original Yakry feeder except for the different control panel, addition of a camera and programming via the app. It is of all ABS plastic construction. A clear window on the front of the food hopper provides a visual check on how much food remains. The top of the food hopper attaches with recessed buttons that have to both be depressed to remove the lid. This makes is virtually impossible for a âtalentedâ pet to get into the hopper. The bottom of this cover includes a vented enclosure for an included bag of silica gel desiccant. This is supposed to help keep the food fresher, but I have my doubts that it really makes much difference. Pins in the main unit go into holes in the food tray to keep it in place. You simply lift or tilt the main unit back to remove the food tray for cleaning. A wall bracket is included that the main unit slides down on to keep it in place against the wall in case you have a very energetic pet. Power is supplied via a USB-A to USB-C cable. A plug in power transformer is included. A battery compartment on the bottom takes three D sized batteries for backup in case of a power outage. Three buttons on the front allow you to immediately dispense an extra meal, reset the feeder or record yourself calling your pet. The recording plays each time food is dispensed. We found that our cat quickly learned the sound of food falling into the feeding tray and she comes running if she is hungry even before the recording has time to play.I have a love/hate relationship with the apps that are commonly used by many new devices. Some just complicate the setup and use of the device. Yakry got this one right. It uses the âSmart Lifeâ app. You install the app on your phone, turn on Bluetooth and it connects to the feeder. There is a bit more to the setup than that, but if you follow the instructions, you should have access to the feeder setup in just a few minutes. Bluetooth is only used for the initial setup. Once that is done, you can access the feeder with your phone anywhere you have Internet service. Phone and email tech support contacts are provided. This feeder includes a camera that you can use to get a visual on your pet when it eats from the tray. You can talk to your pet via the app through the built-in speaker. You can set a serving size and feed immediately, then watch the camera to see if your pet responds. The real benefit of the app is in meal scheduling. You can set the time and meal size for multiple feedings during the day. I couldnât find the maximum number of feedings you can set up. I have 7 set up right now and that seems plenty sufficient. The app is much simpler and more intuitive for programming the meal schedule than the complicated control panel on the previous version of the feeder.This is an excellent upgrade to an already excellent pet feeder. High marks all the way!

Good feeder; customer service is awesome!
1st – the pros: Packaging was good and the feeder was easy to put together. The food hopper was very ample, and the rubber fins got food in the bowl without any glitches.2nd – the cons: No where in the instructions did it mention that you could use this feeder video offline – in fact the instructions talk about signing up for a monthly fee for online video storage. I did contact customer service, and they mentioned that you can insert a micro SD card into a slot hidden beneath the hopper (small screwdriver required!), which then recorded offline. HOWEVER, the software is very fickle – in fact I could only get the first video to show up, but not play back. There was constant spinning of the “thinking” wheel, and messages that indicated it could not connect.After a few days of this and no videos to see, I disconnected the feeder.Update- customer service contacted me and sent instructions on my video playback issues. I will update in a few weeks with the solution to the fix. Customer service does appear to be very responsive, at the very least.
