Customers say
Customers appreciate the camera’s picture quality, durability, and motion detection features. They find it reasonably priced and say it can detect when a person is in sight. However, some customers have issues with the design, mentioning that the power cord has a strange design and the mount cannot screw into the wall.

Best camera for outdoor and indoor
Blink did a great job with this camera. I have one for outside and inside, it one that plugs in so it does not need battery replacement. The quality of the outdoor version feels and looks premium as if it were a 100 dollar product. It has withstood winter and thunderstorms with high winds like a champ. The value is outstanding. The scheduling system is easy to use and there are even features to help let the camera know when and when not to record. It even has human detection vs motion. So it can detect when a person is in sight. An absolute fantastic feature.Night vision does exactly what it says. Can see clearly without a light. However this camera has a light also and will even kick on when motion is detected when it feels it is too dark outside.

Excellent picture quality at a very reasonable price.
Excellent picture quality. Nice not having to worry about batteries. No ongoing subscription requirement. Very reasonably priced

The NEW & improved version !
Picture quality is vastly better than the original, as is the motion detection.Definitely worth the price, which is even lower if you already have the Blink devices, and/or want to trade older ones in for credit towards the new stuff !

Best Blink camera I have used so far
I have wired Blink Outdoor Gen 3, plus the battery operated Gen 4 and then this Mini 2. The Mini 2 has the best motion detection bar none. Very small and discrete. My pick of the options so far. Being powered is the way to go with Blink.

Works great!&
I would give it 5 stars if I would have been able to run the outdoor cord through the brick of my house. Since the plug that goes into the back of the camera is at a 90 degree angle the hole to drill would be huge to get it to go through the wall. Note I did not want to run the cord down the side of the house I think that looks tacky.
