    Follow your kitty’s adventures
Fantastic camera for my cat! The video quality is very good for a cam this size. I can see what my Cleo sees when she roams around the house. The only problem is that she is not used to having a collar, so she freezes up or moves very little with it, but if your cat is active, you’ll be amazed to see where he/she goes. She is also not an outdoor kitty, but you will love this cam if your cat loves the outdoors.I found another good use for this cam. I strap this on my bike, turn it on, and bike around town. It’s fun to record and play my bike routes on my laptop. This cam doesn’t come with a Micro SD card, so you would need to buy one. My 128GB card recorded almost an hour of video.Overall, I am very happy with the cam.

    Cat Camera Collar,No APP, No…
I recently purchased the Cat Camera Collar, and it has been an amazing addition to my cat’s routine! The fact that it doesn’t require an app or any complicated setup is a huge plus—just clip it to your cat’s collar and you’re good to go. The camera captures crystal-clear footage of everything my cat does throughout the day, and I love seeing the world from his perspective. It’s lightweight, comfortable for him to wear, and the video quality is fantastic. Highly recommended for any cat owner

    Great Amazon buy!!
I loved this camera. I wondered what my cat was doing when she left our house. I don’t wonder anymore. She chased birds all day. It was very cool to watch from her view. The camera has amazing quality and is worth the buy!!! Battery life lasted longer than I expected and even after she kept trying to get it off she was unsuccessful.

    Crazy adventures
Easy to install. Adjustable collar that fits a medium sized dog. For reference my dog is a 55lb pittie mix. You don’t need WiFi or an app so it’s hassle free. Images are crisp.

More features would be nice but still SO FUN
This is a pet collar camera in size medium, from KinetCam. Okay, I was really skeptical. It’s not perfect by a long way, but there’s no arguing with the great footage I got on my very first try. There’s a lot to love about this camera. It did not bother my cat to wear it at all. It takes pretty darn good video, considering how small it is. The recordings are in avi mode, so they are easy to play with any device (you will need your own micro SD card of up to 128 gb). You only have to push the button once when you start, and once when you want to stop recording. It will automatically continue making 5 minute long recordings until you turn it off. It has night vision IR mode where it automatically switches to black & white in lower light conditions. This thing is FUN!!!!! I got such a kick out of watching my first batch of videos! Now the not so good things, which still don’t outweigh the amount of fun this camera is. For what must be a really tiny battery, it takes a long time to charge. I had it recording video for about 35 straight minutes and that must’ve used up most of the battery charge because it took a long time to charge afterward. The date and time is sort of weird to set, but there are instructions in the booklet. The size medium collar is too big for even my fattest cat (the smaller size wasn’t an option when I ordered) so I’ll need to jerry rig something. The night vision IR mode doesn’t always switch off right away when conditions become brighter. I kinda would like some kind of app and bluetooth or wifi or something. None of these issues are deal breakers for me because I’ve always wanted to be able to do something like this, and now I can.

  7. Customer Review

    Cat collar camera from 2004
When I ordered this item, it had a seriously minimal product listing. I took a chance that I was right and that it was a cat camera and ordered one. I was right, but what I wasn’t thinking about was the other information that would’ve come in handy that would’ve made me think twice about this cam.Cons: the plug is micro-usb. Who even uses that anymore? There’s no memory card (which I didn’t know was needed because the description/title of the product was minimal (“cat collar accessory”). This “medium” collar isn’t cat-sized at all—it’s too big even for our mini Maltipoo and it slips easily over my 16-lb cat’s head. The camera itself is pretty big, more like a pinhole camera that you’d hide on a shelf. Its dimensions are 1”x1”x1”. In addition, you can only take pictures by pressing the button on the camera—if I wanted a manual camera, having it be attached to my cat is VERY low on the list of features I’d want it to have. There’s no ability to remotely control or view the camera, either. These are the drawbacks prior to even using the cam. Now, once I got the micro-SD card into the camera and took some video, these other things popped up: I have no idea how to set timestamp (it’s set to 8/25/2020, at least 9 hours off the actual time). If your cat is long-haired, it might be a problem because the fur may obscure the lens a bit. Since the collar is so big on the cat, the camera went for a dip in his water bowl b/c at some point. I’m hoping he doesn’t drag it in used cat litter, but it’s a possibility. The cam captures 5-min clips and sound isn’t great—it’s pretty muffled, in fact, when the camera is in the collar holder. Picture is pretty good, but the camera gets warm while recording. Finally, thank god you can play video directly from the camera, b/c I wasn’t about to buy a reader.Ultimately, kind of cool to get a cat’s-eye view of things, but this camera seems like it’s straight out of 2004.
