Great collar made in USA
Bought this for our 6-month old Malinois. Our trainer said itâs best to use a flat collar that is 1â, which is safer for his neck and wonât hurt his trachea if he pulls. I use it primarily for taking him out to do his business and couple it with a retractable to give him more space to move while still monitoring him. Color is great and the buckle is also great and durable. The green we got is bright without being obnoxious. Size and weight are good and he seems to do well with the comfort.

Hi, Iâm Zia. Iâm a Great Dane with an impeccable sense of style and a neck that needs a collar that can keep up. Iâve got a neck like a tree trunk (but much more charming), and this collar adjusts from 18 to 26 inches, which means itâs snug but not suffocatingâjust how I like it. Great color, strong clasp.
This review is for Country Brook Petz Premium Nylon Dog Collar with Metal Buckle.The Good: Color, material, clasp.The Bad: Adjustment buckle slips occasionally.The Ugly: The metal buckle has a rough, gritty feel to it.The Long Review: These collars are nice looking, the material is strong and the color is nice and appears to be long-lasting. We have a pair of doodle mixes that are almost a year old and about 50lbs. Both of them are active dogs and can pull really well when they’re excited. These collars have held up to them occasionally burst tugging during distraction training and loose leash practice. The buckle has never given way, but the adjustment buckle has let the material slip enough that our female ninja flipped and popped her head right out of her collar!Fortunately, she’s decently trained enough that she prefers to stick around her pup parents, so getting it back on wasn’t an issue. The other collar for our male has not had this problem, and we’ve had to adjust it more often than the female’s because of his growth spurts.It’s entirely possible we just were unlucky and got a bad one, but it’s not so bad as to be unusable. We just have to be aware that it *can* slip and make sure to check her neck spacing more often before we do any training – especially out in public.The metal clasp is strong, but also a little gritty. It feels like they just weren’t polished and de-burred enough during the finishing stage before being shipped out. They still function just fine, I just don’t like having any kind of rough, gritty feel to a clasp or locking mechanism – because it makes me worried that they may jam up at some point when I’m trying to release them. (this has not been an issue thus-far, it’s more of a potential concern than an actual issue)Final Thoughts: These come in a wide array of colors, look nice, and overall work well. Keep an eye on your collar for slippage in case you have the same issue I ran into. Otherwise, push the buy button and enjoy.

Very well made
Well made and looks nice. The metal clasp is different from any Iâve used in the past. It is made well and easy to operate. The collar is easily adjustable and stays where youâve adjusted it to unlike other collars that Iâve had where Iâve adjusted them and then they just somehow loosen themselves. I highly recommend this collar and Iâm looking forward to getting the leash thatâs on its way.

This seems like a really well constructed collar. I have no fears about it stretching or my big old boy being able to extricate himself from it (which he has done with other collars before – a nightmare). Would definitely recommend.
