The size works well with a dog and 3 cats
This pet water fountain is perfect for any household with multiple animals. The thing that is most unique is the size. Fountains with such large reservoirs are not as common. It’s made of steel, so it doesn’t absorb odors and is easy to clean. The exterior has a cute gray and white marbled print that gives it a unique and attractive look. It has an interior light and a small window so you can easily see the water level. The fountain comes with an optional spout, so you can set it up based on your animals’ preference. Without the spout, there’s a gentle bubbling that occurs at the opening. I suspect cats will like it both with and without the spout. The fountain is REALLY quiet. I can’t even tell it’s running other than looking at it. The filter is supposed to be changed every 1 to 2 weeks. I don’t change it that often. You’re also supposed to clean it every 1 to 2 weeks. It comes with a small spooly to help clean the spout and small spaces. This is one of the better fountains I’ve used. I highly recommend it.

Very good product
This is the ideal water fountain for my three cats. It’s super quite and the volume is big enough for multiple pets home. And it can also easy to tell when to add more water in it without opening it. My cats love using it. It makes things easier when I was out of home for travel. Already recommended it to my friends.

Proprietary filters like all of these fountains
The bowl for this is huge and makes it so it only needs to be filled every few days. I hate the fact that every single one of these fountain water dishes take a different proprietary filter, literally every single one. The filters are hard to find and can be expensive. Other reviews have said that the pump stopped working but so far mine is still going, but if it does burn out I can use the giant bowl as a normal water bowl I guess. The dogs love this thing and the cat thinks that it’s his fountain too even though he has his own. I like that you can see how low the water is through the little window in the front and the pump goes all the way to the bottom of the bowl so it will run until it’s almost empty instead of leaving like a gallon of water on the bottom like some other brands. This is a decently price fountain for the size and if it weren’t for the filters I would highly recommend it.

Holds a lot of water!
I really like this stainless steel water fountain for my cats. It holds a LOT of water, is durable and easy to clean. While you can use the filter cartridge that comes with it and keep trying to buy replacements over time, I donât bother using them. The whole point of a pet fountain is to just get the water moving and make it more enticing for your pet to drink from and consume more water. I clean it at least once a week, so I donât see the need to use a filter. If you wanted to still filter though, but can’t find replacements, you could cut and make your own re-useable filter pads using food grade filter foam, pillow batting, fine mesh screen, cheese cloth, etc.The pump does make some noise, and it could just be this one that I received, but itâs not enough to be loud and annoying. I inspected everything before using and I did remove the water flow adjustment piece from the pump as I donât see the need to use it. I disassembled the pump, put it back together and it seemed to help a little. I have other fountains that are quiet.I saw in a review or two where the person said the window and fountain didnât line up and it was messing with their OCD, but that is not the case here. You can rotate the fountain lid any way you want and have the spout and view window lined up perfectly or turned to the side, etc. The pump can be placed anywhere inside the perimeter of the bowl and the indicator light is still visible as it lights everything up. If you want a bit more water surface movement, you can remove the spout and the water will gently bubble up.My cats have a tendency to paw at their bowls and the water to get it moving before drinking, making a mess. Since this fountain lid freely rotates with no notch to set it in place, I did add a couple small black metal office clips to hold it in place, just in case. The fountain is taller than their plain stainless water bowl, and they seem to like that.The fountain however, did not come with a USB power adapter so I deducted one star. I had to borrow one from something else. Every pet fountain Iâve purchased before all came with their own USB power adapter. For the price of this fountain, I would expect it to come with an adapter since it has everything else included.Despite that, I highly recommend this fountain and I just may purchase another one.

Was promising but failed overall
The bad:This is only good for as long as you have the 6 filters it comes with since there arenât replacement filters available.The filter placement isnât great and I can see issues in the future.It has a usb to charge but no wall adapter to plug in. I had to wait a few days to get an extra just to use this.The positives:The noise isnât bad until it gets low on water but that seems fairly common among these fountains.This holds a ton of water and I can go a week to ten days before it needs more.I canât recommend this fountain. Especially at $40, Iâm sure you can find something better.
