Great for the price!
I love this camera. The quality of the picture is pretty good, and the set-up process is pretty easy. It’s also compatible with Alexa so I love that I can view the picture from my phone or my Echo.The only issue with my order is one of the pieces for mounting the monitor were missing from the box when I received it. Not the end of the world but I was hoping to be able to mount it. If it wasn’t missing the piece then I would have given this item 5 stars.

Easy to set up
These are great for in the house if you just want an inexpensive way to monitor. They are great for watching pets! I move mine around remotely and the cat comes running to sniff it. And the monitor plan is really inexpensive.

Avoid like the plague!
First off, I’m a Director of IT for a healthcare company, we have 17 sites in three cities all networked together flawlessly, and have worked in the It field for 25+ years, so this review is coming from a plethora of experience. This camera is poorly designed, I expected cheap (it was purchased to watch a dog), but the software, and camera design is inexcusable. First, the design flaw, the “reset” button is useless, it is under the camera “orb”, between the bottom of the orb and the rotational housing/case. If you do not have 100% control over the camera, it cannot be reset, ever as it is “at rest” underneath the camera with a few mm space between the camera and the housing. Yet, in the set up instructions they say ” if you have trouble, reset the camera and try again”, which is impossible to do.The second thing is, The app you use to connect to the camera allows you to connect to the camera, but then uses some mystical “audio transfer” of your wireless configuration to the camera to complete the network set up. Rather than letting you enter your SSID/network name, and the password, your completely at the mercy of a poorly written API to work with a tone deaf camera. I’ve never heard of such nonsense in my life, and I’ve set up and manage a million dollar network for a living. If the API can communicate with the camera, there is no reason to not allow you to configure the camera for your wireless network, but there it is, you cant. Finally the app provided is faulty, it provides a wireless signal tester that’s crap and downplays your wireless strength. Like I said I work in IT, I have many nifty apps on my phone for my job, including multiple paid apps to evaluate wireless signals, signal strength , channels etc, My wireless dual band router is 15′ line of sight away from the mounting area, with nothing but open air between the two devices and the app claimed the network signal was horrible, while every other app I have has me at full bars, no Db loss and excellent transfer on both Bands. They’ve loaded the app to put the fault of poor performance on the consumer. be warned…. do not buy

Great camera!
I ordered this camera when it went on sale for $20. Best $20 I have ever spent! We use it as a baby monitor for our daughterâs room. It has night vision, I can talk through it, I can move it up and down and side to side if she crawls to the corner of her room. Setup is easy and the app is easy to use. Only downside is it doesnât record unless you get the subscription, which really isnât a big deal to me. Great buy!

I was reluctant at first because itâs cheap and not a famous brand. It works better, no lag, saves accordingly, easy to use but app is bit confusing at first. You need to use in landscape for all features to be visible, not detailed instruction.

We purchased 1 of these then we purchased 3 more and placed it all over our house, you can talk to, so if you placed it in the kids room, you can easily talk to them. What I like about this you can easily turn the lenses and look all around the room on the app. Picture quality is perfect and worth every penny. It also has recording capacity.

Great bit of kit. Bought this item as we want to keep an eye on the kids with their new bunk beds. Easy to set up on multiple devices. We use this on our ipad and also when the misses is in work she gets to talk to the kids at bedtime from work. Well worth the money amd the kids love being able to talk to us if they are playing in their room. Picture is crisp amd sound is great
