Takes super cute pics!
Good compact camera for everyday use. The 16MP CMOS sensor delivers sharp, vibrant images, and the 5X optical zoom is great for capturing details from a distance. Itâs lightweight, easy to use, and perfect for travel or casual photography. The 28mm wide-angle lens is a bonus for group shots or scenic views. Good value for the price and an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable, no-fuss cam

Did you know Kodak is the best selling camera brand in Japan?
This is one of the reasons why.No one makes point and shoot cameras any more.A group called JKImaging took up the torch and licensed the Kodak name, and contacted the manufacturers who made the Kodak cameras and struck a deal. They were making Japanese name brand cameras under license as well.I wanted a pocket point and shoot I could stuff in a pocket and take for a bike ride. I have a lot of cameras but wasn’t about to pack them up on a bouncy mountain bike.I tried a couple others but they just didn’t fit the bill. So let’s look for a brand name with a reputation. No Nikons. No Canons. No Fujis. Let’s try KodakThis thing is loaded with features, has a good lens and a more than adequate sensor. Auto mode is really good, program mode is very good, and manual is everything you want. The others washed out on telephoto photos, low-light photos. and landscapes. They were good for close up snapshots, and had good features, but I wanted more. For $100 I got it.For serious photos it’s not going to replace my Nikons or my Fujis, but far more than adequate to stuff in a pocket and go. Beginners can use Auto or Program and get good shots, and as they learn more can go to Manual and set whatever they want.My one complaint is the preview in Manual doesn’t give an adequate representation of the resulting photo. Ten years ago i had a pocket Olympus that would. Except for that one detail, this is as good as that, and I took some great photos with that camera. The photos are unretouched except for resizing. All straight from the camera. One is Auto, One is Program, and the others are Manual.I’m a “Semi-Amateur” photographer. I take photos mostly for my own gratification, but I’ve had Galleries, sold a few, and a few that were published. I know what I want my photos to look like, and I can get it with this camera. Sometimes the definition isn’t as good as my DSLRs, but then, I didn’t pay 30 times what this cost.Very good little camera.

Great first camera.
My stepdaughter had wanted a camera and this was definitely a great choice. She carries this thing everywhere. Itâs been dropped idk how many times and still keeps ticking. Great choice for a first camera for younger kids.
I love it so much! Everything turned out great, you will need to buy an SD card separately but it comes with a battery! –
One of the best cameras on Amazon for cheap!
The function is great, camera quality is better than others, color accuracy is great! It comes with a battery but you will need to buy an SD card separately. I got the Red camera, itâs super cute!

A Tale of Two Cameras…
After reading great reviews on this camera online I went searching for one locally without any luck. We live on the Florida coast and tourists snatch them up as fast as they come in. Anyway, I saw what looked like a similar camera at Target and bought the Vivitar VES 529 for $90. Mistake! It wouldn’t capture an image, the wrist strap too over an hour of fiddling to attach, the SD card fit so deep in the camera I had to use tweezers to insert and remove it, the instructions were in undecipherable gibberish and woefully incomplete, the zoom was ratchety and the lens wobbly, the viewfinder image fuzzy, and it didn’t come with an AC adapter. The case was a little vinyl bag. Overall, an incredibly cheap piece of trash that’s going back to Target. By the way, Vivitar’s customer service is pathetic. Then I ordered this little Kodak from Amazon, without actually being able to see it first.. Right out of the box, it was a much more substantial feeling camera, the viewfinder image was clear, the video mode worked, it had an AC adapter, and the battery and SD card were easy to insert. Downloading is also simple. It’s just a joy to use and feels much more substantial. It’s very compact, like the Vivitar, but they are otherwise worlds apart in quality and ease of use.ANYONE wanting a compact, capable point and shoot camera won’t do much better than this. Even at $30 more then the Vivitar, this is a far better buy.

My first love!!
This camera is perfect, I didnât have to touch the settings for them to come out with the best picture quality! Battery life lasts a while as long as you remember to turn it off when youâre not using it (makes sense). I got a separate 32gb memory card since it doesnât come with one, and I still have yet to run out of storage! It functions pretty well, the only thing is that sometimes the shutter button doesnât capture right away so youâll have to let go of it and repress it to take the picture.

Great for simple, everyday use
Iâve been using this camera for a couple months now and Iâve loved it for the most part! Some instances where Iâve had trouble with it is in a concert venue, overly bright sunlight, or in a situation with too much motion. I also havenât been too impressed with the video quality, but I primarily use it for photo taking anyways, so thatâs not such a big deal for me personally. However, for capturing a trip or pictures with friends, itâs perfect. Itâs made simple pictures a lot more fun to take.Iâve been carrying this around in my bag pretty much every day, so itâs super easy to tote with you. With primarily using the Program AE mode and keeping flash on, the photos have come out accurate in color, detail, etc for the most part. Iâll edit some pictures after taking them, but thereâs been times where I really just prefer it as the camera took it (or with very light adjusting) because they turned out so well.If you want something practical to carry around for everyday use, this works pretty great.

Small light camera easy to carry and takes good pictures. We had the Kodak model that takes AA batteries but it would lose power and give error messages all the time. This model has rechargeable battery and itâs much more reliable. The photo quality is decent, takes good video too. Intuitive mode settings for different photo modes. Menus are easy to use.

After watching and reading many reviews I decided to purchase this camera and I can honestly say it’s been a game changer. I used to have the Fuji Film x100V and I spent so much money on a camera because I wanted the vintage/old school look. While that camera is great and obviously produces high quality images it’s not for someone who wants something light weight and easy to use – which is what I wanted. This camera is great! You really feel like you’re back in the 2000’s with this one and I can’t wait to continue using it for my upcoming trips!

I used this camera on my honeymoon which was super convenient for its compact size. Takes great quality pictures in the right lighting and the flash is strong enough for darker light. A little on the pricey side but gives great memories with a vintage and raw vibe (moreso than iphone photos) which are priceless. Make sure to play around with the settings and put the camera on the right mode for your subject. Portrait mode smoothes out your skin! Great for selfies.
