Great camera and easy setup!
I have used WiFi security cameras in the past, but never ones with two-way communication capabilities so I was excited to give this one a try. At it’s price point of just under $30, it was definitely worth a try and I am happy to report that it works great!Setup -Setup was very simple using your phone, running the free Nooie Cam app. You first need to verify that your phone is connected to the 2.4Ghz access point in your home where you will be using the camera. You then simply start the Nooie Cam app and select the +Camera button. You select the Nooie Cam Indoor 1080P option and it will walk you through the remaining, simple steps. Basically, you assure the camera is on, enter the password for the wireless access point/router your phone is connected to (this is the same one you will be connecting the camera to), click Next, and a QR code appears on the screen of your phone. You now hold the screen of your phone in front of the Nooie camera’s lens and it provides an audible tone and LED light indicator when it is finished reading the QR code. The app will now inform you that it is pairing and will begin a countdown. When complete, the app will inform you that pairing has completed. It’s that simple.Use -Now that the camera has been added, you simply select it to view the camera. To hear audio from the camera, you select the speaker icon within the app and now you are able to see and hear what’s going on around the camera. The camera also has a built-in speaker that allows you to press the microphone button within the app and then speak through it. This is very useful depending on where you locate the camera. For example, I have the camera in my garage which would allow my family to use the app to let me know when I’ve been working on my car or other projects for too long. I can then respond “Just five more minutes” and be heard. ;)Video and audio can be recorded to either a microSD card or to the cloud. Cloud storage is a paid service. Given my usage, microSD recording is fine for me so I haven’t tried the cloud storage option. MicroSD recordings are easily accessed through the app via a scrollable tape across the bottom of the screen. You select the day and then scroll through to the time you would like to view.Like other security cameras, you can also setup notifications based on sound and/or motion. This too is easy to configure by selecting None, Low, Medium, or High for each option and then selecting the timeframe that you would like to receive notifications. Note that you can enable disable notifications by day, but each day only has one start time and one end time that can be selected. Meaning, you cannot setup notifications from 8am-5pm and then again 10pm to midnight for the same day. You could do one or the other, but not both. I don’t see this as a problem for me, but it’s worth noting depending on your use case.There are two additional notable settings. First is the ability to enable/disable audio recording. I haven’t done much testing with this, but I’d imagine this could save some space on your microSD card, allowing you to possibly record more video if disabled. Second is the ability to enable/disable the small LED light on the camera. If you placed the camera in a visible location in your home, you may want to disable the LED to avoid the distraction of it. For my garage location, I prefer to have the LED on to act as an added deterrent.Customer Service -I reached out to Nooie’s customer service prior to purchasing this camera with a number of questions. I received quick, thorough responses the same day, shortly after I had sent them. I worked with Julia who was great to work with. Very friendly, personable, and understanding. Julia’s customer service was great and made the decision to purchase this camera a complete no-brainer. As I’m sure many of you know, when you have questions or something goes wrong you really find out what a company is made of. I’m happy to say Nooie’s support is great!Summary -This camera works great and has clear video. The two-way communication capability is an added bonus and could open up its use to more than just a security camera. I am definitely glad that I gave this camera a try. It will work well in my garage for added security as well as the ability for my family to communicate with me while I’m working in the garage.Video Summary -I attached a video that shows the camera’s ability to adjust to different lighting scenarios. I have a garage door opener in my garage that provides limited light as well as ceiling mounted LED lights with fluorescent-style diffusers that provide a good amount of light for working. The video shows how the camera adjusts to the different lighting of these plus daylight backlighting and all lights off. The audio doesn’t exactly line up with the video. My phone apparently had trouble when rendering the video and it offset the sound a bit.

Great Camera for those who don’t want a separate monitor
This Baby Monitor with camera was very easy to setup and start using once you download the app. I like that I can use my phone and don’t have to have a bulky monitor to carry around. We have the camera on the other side of my son’s room and the video quality is very good and we can zoom in. I wasn’t sure how it was going to be at night, but the nightvision works well. You can see a little bit of the red when this mode is on, but it is very dimmed as to not make the room bright.I have setup alerts for movement which works well. I had one on for noise, but I had to turn it off because it was picking up the air conditioner (loud window unit) in his room and constantly alerting me. I haven’t tried changing placement, but that might resolve the issue. I haven’t used it much, but it is nice having the ability to to use the app to talk through to the camera is nice.This model doesn’t have the ability to swivel/pivot so as long as that isn’t an issue then it will work. We have a clear line of sight across the room from the camera and can zoom in, but placement could be an issue for some.All in all this monitor is a great budget pick.

Great little camera, not perfect
We use this as our baby monitor and while not perfect, this has been such a great, affordable little camera. We use it in a dark room and the picture quality is perfect quality. The app is easy to use and allows anytime watching our little (my husband, mother and I) to tune in.For the first month, it worked perfectly without any issues. During the last month, weâve had two hiccups where the Nooie disconnected and we couldnât get it to reconnect, even after following the steps in the manual. Somehow it effectively fixes itself but customer service wasnât the most responsive, in our experience.Really love this little thing and think itâs totally worth the money. We use it for 15 hours a day with baby sleep.

Reliable and Portable Camera â Perfect for Families!
I bought my first Nooie 1080p Indoor Camera in February 2022, and Iâve been using it ever since without any major issues. I now have two of these cameras â one in my sonâs bedroom and another that I take with us when we travel to our summer house or even hotels. It’s so compact and easy to set up that taking it on trips is no problem at all.The camera has a clean interface and an easy-to-use app that makes monitoring simple. It sends notifications when motion or sound is detected, which is very useful, especially with a young child. I did experience a minor issue with the startup sound once, but it was quickly resolved by the support team.The only thing I wish is that it stored Wi-Fi details from networks itâs connected to before. It would make reconnecting when switching between familiar networks much easier, especially when traveling.Iâm so satisfied with the performance and reliability of this camera that Iâve recommended it to at least three friends with babies, and theyâve all been happy with their Nooie cameras as well. Whether youâre using it at home or on the go, this is a fantastic product that provides peace of mind. Highly recommended!

It was a little challenging to get my internet setup and make sure I was only broadcasting 2.4ghz but once I was able to get that going the instructions to setup were really clear and direct and quick to follow. I did reach out to nooie support which is an email service and they were very prompt with responses within 24 hours I would typically get responses around 3-4am est. The only aspect as I got the nooie 360 first is that I cant just rotate the angle of the camera and I knew this before getting it just a note to keep in mind. The quality is great as you can see, it’s very easy to see my cat and zoom in and there’s no lag. Great work nooie!

Nos gusta mucho la camara, tenemos más de una.Se ve muy bien tanto de dÃa como de noche . Y el sonido en ambas direcciones es bueno.Desde la app puedes manejar todas las cámaras. La cuanta de la app solo se puede abrir desde un dispositivo, pero tiene la opción de invitar a mas cuentas para que pueden ver a la vez las cámaras. Solo la cuenta principal puede encender y apagar las camaras desde la app.Puedes sacar fotos y videos que se guardan en la galeria del dispositivo.Tener una SD puesta en la camara (viene incluida con la camara) te da la opción de poder ver grabaciones de dÃas anteriores. Pudiendo usar la cámara también como seguridad no solo para bebés.
