Best Way To Give Medication and Supplements
My dog was just recently diagnosed with lymphoma cancer. He is on a lot of medications and supplements while he is going through chemotherapy. Pill pockets are way to expensive and sometimes they are not big enough or too much for the medication or supplement we are trying to give him. This is the most cost effective and best product we have found that he will accept to eat. (He has a sensitive stomach)I have bought all 3 flavors so that we can rotate the taste for him while he takes his medicines. He absolutely loves all 3 flavors. For his chewable supplements that he does not like to chew, we actually just press a very small amount of this wrap-a-pill dough onto his chewable tablets and then he will eat his chewable tablet too! The wrap-a-pill will stick to his chewable tablet without having to cover the entire large tablet. The produce is easy to use, it is moist and dough or paste like consistency. Smells just like the flavor it is suppose to be.I would recommend Wrap-A-Pill.

    Great idea!
Love this! Pinch a little ball, roll in your hands to warm it and then mold around a pill of any size. Smaller and easier than pill pockets. My dog LOVES the flavor and gobbles it up. Just a great product.

    Works Well for Giving Pills
My dog loves the taste, and it makes giving pills much easier. The treats are soft and easy to use, making them a great option for pill administration.Just a heads-up to future buyers: Make sure your dog doesn’t see you prepping the treat, or they may catch on and refuse it. Otherwise, it works great and helps make pill time a lot less stressful. Overall, a solid product!

    Perfect!
Amazing stuff! I can wrap the tiniest amount around a pill and my dog will eat it, even after she drops 1/2 on the floor. It doesn’t stick to your hands or leave any odor or residue.

    Better than Pill Pockets
I have to give my pup 2 – 4 pills per day. Although I wish this was less expensive, I prefer this product over pill pockets now. Definitely more than PB or cheese. It is more pliable and easier to control the amount. It sticks to the pill so that my dog doesn’t try to spit it out. She loves the flavor.

    The best pill pocket eva
The best thing about these is that you can use as much as as little as you need to, depending on the size of your dog or the size of the pill or whatever it even disguises the gross taste of the flea and heart medicine that dogs typically spit out I think this is a better value than greenies because you can, use as much or little as you need to and you’re not stuck with using one pill pocket for a tiny little pill dog loves the taste. We’ve bought all the flavors and he loves all of them. This is a go. We’ve been using it for a long time now and I’m never using another type of pill pocket again.

    Unhealthy ingredients!
I used to use pill pockets until I started educating myself on pet nutrition and health. They are terrible for your dog! I looked at the ingredients on (I guess) another flavor of this jar, and it didn’t have anything that I could see that I didn’t want my dogs to have. HOWever, each flavor is different, and I assumed they were the same, with only different taste/flavor. Aside from the ingredients, yes, I loved it! Moist, easy to mold, hreat smell and taste, (yes, I did), etc. Smalller jar for the price, but worth the money if it isn’t harmful for my kiddos. I liked this one the best, which is unfortunate, but the bacon flavored one is what I will have to stick with going forward. My dogs have been through many surgeries, so it would be awesome to have a bigger option! But, no, wasn’t falling apart or anything. Seems a tad but harf when cold until your hands warm it up and it’s much more spreadable.

I believe this is a better value than buying pill pockets
I have learned that it takes very little to wrap even a big pill. My dog has lupus and needs to take 3 pills twice per day, but will not eat his meals if there are pills in the meals. This pill wrap product disguises the taste of the pills. He is particularly fond of taking his pills, because I also add some shredded cheese to the mix. The fact that he doesn’t notice the pills is great!

Our dog needs to take quite a few tablets and one capsule in particular was really tricky to give him. – particularly when we had to change him to hypoallergenic food. He’d find the capsule in wet food and either refuse to eat it or spit the capsule out. This comes in a tub and is like a putty. We just scoop some out and ball it round the capsule. We use a tiny bit just for a thin layer over his other tablets. Now he sits and gives us a paw for his wrapped medication! He has food allergies which caused ear infections but no flare up since using this. Brilliant.

My dog wouldn’t even look at it

Our greyhound is on long term medication of 3 capsules a day. She can be quite “sniffy” about her food. Using a small amount of paste and rolling the pill / capsule in the paste in the palm of the hand to form a coating that then looks like a small olive – works a treat, just put the “olive” in with the main food in a bowl, not fired down the throat. Let the dog scoop it up, but don’t let it get too wet otherwise it just rolls around in the mouth. At the end of last year is was not available on Amazon or anywhere. I even wrote to the company and the manufacturer in USA in despair. The alternative would be a D.I.Y. paste with peanut paste – very messy and hard to store, or, use commercial pill pockets – they are very expensive for long term with more multiple medications. To get the best scoop amount I searched the internet and the best metal scoop was a Danish salt spoon (Ib Laursen Metal Salt Spoon ) as being only 5.5cm long it fits snugly into the lid of the container – so easy to use and store. Other means of delivering medications are available but for me, the wrap a pill is essential, as the “olives” as above are easily added to her food at a meal time, not separate. I am so glad that wrap a pill exists and is once more back on Amazon.
