Clicker Training Made Easy and Effective
There are quite a few reasons why I love this product. The compact design and attached finger band make it easy to hold. It’s a clear method of positive behavior reinforcement, and the included training guide is top-notch. The fact that it’s useful for all ages and can train various animals is a big bonus. A nice little clicker with a good sound. Overall, a brilliant tool for training pets.

Works for Us
VOLUME: I have a 5 month old Jackahua and this appears to be perfect for us. It is a softer click, good for inside an apartment or a small courtyard. I would not recommend it for a larger dog park or in an environment with competing noises.HOLDING: I included a pic of how I hold it, as some reviewers reported difficulty. Strap on middle finger, press thumb straight down towards middle finger. This is my arthritic hand and it works well.INSTRUCTIONS: DO follow the enclosed instructions; they are competent and helpful. Do NOT just run around clicking this AT your dog or you will be here whining that it doesn’t work. The fault will be yours.REVIEWS: I looked at so many different clickers, reading the reviews, comparing prices, and I’m glad I decided on this one.PROGRESS: Since we just got it today, we are simply working on “association”. I’m keeping it next to me with a dish of crumbled treats. When she’s not paying attention to me, I’ll click and toss her a crumb. She’s a little leery of the strange noise, but she really loves these treats (Blue Buffalo), so I’m aiming for a little association practice a few times a day until she gets it into her little doggy brain than the sound means tasty thing. When she’s perfectly comfortable with that, we’ll move on to “touch”, etc.

Cat loves it….but very hard to push to click
I thought it was broke at first but eventually found I had to really push very hard on the button to get it to click. My arthritic hand doesn’t like that. But it works and my cat caught on fast. I usually use a crinkle toy in my hand to make noise to get his attention before throwing a ball. This works great – each time I clicked it he looked up and was ready for the throw. Who says you can’t train a cat!!! Since having to push so hard on the button I found the strap useless. Overall it works.

RECOMMENDED BY TRAINER
My dog trainer emphasized the need for immediate “feedback” when a dog succeeds with a command. The clicker provides this and conveys that a treat is coming. This clicker is sufficiently pitched to gain my dog’s attention and allows me a little time to fumble for a retreat.

Awkward
The loop is very large and not adjustable. It will work well for larger hands, but it is too loose for children and women with narrower fingers. As a result it does not stay in place and may be just another thing to juggle, which defeats the purpose of the design. The button is also awkward in that it must be pressed very deeply to get a click, and not good for fast timing. The volume of the click is a low medium. Much quieter than traditional box clickers if you have an animal that responds better to a softer marker.
Love it –
This clicker is very cool
This clicker is so cool, I use clickers with my pups and they are always inconvenient to hold i love that I can still use my hand and don’t have to grab for the clicker. It fits nicely in the palm if my hand. I wish I had this years ago

It works
We used this to train our dog to shake, spin, sit and stay. Very easy to use and it works great. Good size, good value at only a couple bucks. Maybe there is a reason this design and concept hasn’t changed in around 100 years. I guess it’s because it works.

Easy to use and hold but not the loudest click
I was interested in this clicker for dog training because I liked that it had a way to attach to a finger rather than using a bracelet around the wrist. It fits snug on my finger and fits nicely in my hand, making it easy to use my thumb to press the clicker button. The only area where it falls a little bit short is in the sound of the click because it is not very loud so I’ve noticed that in some situations where things may be noisy, my dog doesn’t notice it. Other than that though, it’s sturdy and easy to use and in most situations quite effective.

This is the second one of these I purchase, as a backup, because I love these so much.A bit more expensive than the cheaper alternatives, but much higher quality.Fits nicely on finger, the clicker feels sturdy, it would be difficult to accidentally press the button.Easily understood by my Shih-Tzu, Guinea pigs and Parrotlet!
