Great cameras for indoor use
I purchased a set of these cameras to keep a watchful eye on my pre teen while home alone. Setting up is super easy. I installed the app on my phone and my husband’s phone. You can remote re position the camera to get different angles. You can listen while watching the camera. You can speak through the camera’s from your phone but the audio is not always very clear. Often there is a delay and some distorted noise. Night vision is very clear. You can view both camera’s at the same time with one click. It records when a micro sd card is inserted and once it reaches full, it starts recording over old material. Upon setting up the cameras initially, you need to set the time. It didn’t do this automatically and after using for a few months, I discovered the time stamp was wrong because the time was not set to my phone. I corrected this and the time is now correct. You can name the cameras as well. I love them. They work great for the purpose I need them for. In due time I will order outdoor cameras for around my property. I have my cameras two separate places of the house and have opted to not mount them with screws. I have them placed on shelves where there is an accessible outlet. I highly recommend them. I would definitely buy again.

I originally ordered two, has problems scanning the QR code on my phone, then I went to the 2nd one no problem. Back to the 1st still has issues contacted Dan at customer service and did everything he said to do, still nothing. So I ordered 2 more thinking I can get them to work, still issues. So I played with them and got the QR code scanned and hooked up to the Internet.Dan was a big help at customer service. The cameras replaced my Amcrest ones. They work great, plenty of features easy pulling up recording.

Perfect For My Home
This double pack was exactly what I was looking for. I can set these up to alert my phone whenever there is motion. One con is that the changing sun in the afternoon tricks one of them into thinking there is motion. Other than that, The capture seems to work well, and the PTZ works well. Makes it easy to keep an eye on the dogs while at work. It can be tricky to locate these so that they can be plugged in. I put mine just above a window and used the casing to hide the wire. I did also order the mini SD cards in 128 gig and they seem to capture and playback well. The picture is good. The best part is that there is no subscription to use them and the app. I have noticed that they sometimes have difficulty staying connected, but that could be my old router as well. If you are looking for an affordable camera solution with no subscription, these are the ones to get.

At last, a security camera that works with more than smart phones!
I got this camera to see if it could replace the WYZE security cameras I’ve had for several years – after WYZE’s app software was questionably “upgraded” so it no longer worked on any device I owned. As I have a couple of Raspberry-Pi security camera monitoring screens set up around the house (using the open-source iSpy PC software) it was important to me that the new camera directly support the RTSP open standard (Real Time Streaming Protocol) beyond what ever proprietary interface it uses to communicate with their ReoLink PC and smart phone apps. The new ReoLink camera does and works wonderfully, with better image quality, color infrared imaging, and a variety of options for recognizing, tracking, and recording people and pets. They also provide models that’ll work outdoors with or without solar power too, which will let me to easily expand my home security camera perimeter coverage. All at a great value for the price, highly recommended!

Donât buy this theyâre app to control Everything sucks.
I have been using Reolink for around 2 years now. Originally when I purchased these, I was so excited. However, as a month went on, I realized their app sucks so much, that their awesome products suck because of their app. Iâve been in contact with this company and I keep thinking they will fix their app. They donât. While using the app with multiple cameras from them, It frequently confuses other cameras with the cameras youâre trying to look at. This means that the camera youâre trying to look at technically doesnât exist âAccording to the appâ because thereâs two viewings of the same camera that you werenât looking at. Functionality: minus stars if possible, It defeats the whole purpose of me buying the system.Value for money: Again minus stars if possibleMotion detection: It doesnât matter if I said it to minimal motion or maximum motion it always goes off from a little bird and is useless. Again, if possible minus stars.

Super good quality for this price range
I’ve used Reolink cameras in the past for other applications, so I snagged these since the price was great. Reolink has an excellent app that doesn’t bombard you with ads to sign up for their cloud services. Which is miles ahead of the other options. The price is good for these. The app works really well, and the quality is shockingly good. Whatever sensor they use it good, these cameras produce a great picture. The app is not basic end user friendly though. By default, these cameras don’t record anything, even with a card. So you do have to go in and set all that up. It’s not hard, but the appl doesn’t really tell you any of that. I won’t fault them for it, but it’s something to be mindful about.Back to the quality, it is really good. And the detection settings, which see above you have to set it up, works really well. For the nerds out there, these cameras support RTSP streams. So whatever DVR software you’re using, they will work with it.
