    Great value
These kind of gates are always a bit annoying because they aren’t that sturdy and a bit of work installing and uninstalling. But that’s the trade off for a low price and portability. Once installed it’s very sturdy and looks nicer than the usual portable gates. It’s slim too which makes it easy to tuck away when we aren’t using it. This gate fits our needs perfectly – keeping our bunny in the kitchen and keeping our dog inside when we want to leave the front door open.

Easy and eye catching baby gates
I was hesitant based on reviews of them being flimsy and cheap but I’m happy with these gates.I was dreading buying baby gates because they’re just so tacky looking. These are very nice looking and fit the style of our house. The true color of the wood is in the close up photo. For whatever reason, further away it appears darker than it really is.These appealed to me because they are easy to put up and down, I wanted to be able to stash them away to make the house look nice when we have company over in the evenings. They are truly easy to put up and down. I used a marker and marked which slot to use so that it’s even quicker. I took note from previous reviews that said they break easily from too much tension so I fit the doorway just a little too loose then went one notch past that and they’re very secure. So far my 7 month old stands up and pulls on them and they haven’t come down. They’re a good height in my opinion, we can easily step over them (5’8” and 5’10”).Oh and as you can probably see in the photos, I have baseboards and they install well there.Really I don’t have anything negative to say about these!

Pretty good with no major complaints
This is a great little gate. I say little in it only expands to a door width, and is tall enough just for a toddler to stay in a room. My dogs easily jump over it. The clasp is the best because it is easiest compared to others that use odd like features. This just clamps down where needed. That said, the clasp is challenging to unclasp, and the gate is flimsy. Not terrible, but they just don’t make things like the use to and it shows.

Doesn’t work – No locking functionality. Not broken, just trash.
I bought this baby gate for a new puppy, to cordon off certain areas of the apartments so as not to overstimulate him (or lose him under furniture). This gate doesn’t work at all. It doesn’t appear to be broken, it functions as it says it does – not an ideal design, even if it did work – but the locking mechanisms do not create any pressure by which the sides of the gate actually ‘lock’ into the walls they’re supposed to lock into. As you can see in the photo, I’ve just got this pushed up against the doorway and I’m using a box and books/candles on the other side of the fence to keep it in place. Spent the better part of a very frustrating hour this morning trying to get this to work. Went by exactly what the instructions said. Everything unclipped and pulled apart as it should, but nothing locked into place. Without any functionality to lock this gate into place, it is absolutely useless. Also the clip you need to remove in order to pull the gate open more and ‘lock’ into place immediately chips the wood of the gate where the clip is at as you remove it and re-attach it, so in addition to not working, it creates immediate and noticeable wear in using it.Just a waste of money. I should have gotten a plastic gate.

    Not strong enough
Gate worked well, but the locking arm broke after a month. Weak wood, I suppose.

    Looks Great
This is perfect for keeping the dogs out of places. Low enough to step over easily but very securely fits between the doorways. Looks good with the dark stained wood and black plastic “chicken wire” It’s a little hard to snap into place but gets easier once you know how to do it. I wouldn’t recommend for people with arthritis as it could be painful.

    Cute and sturdy!
I used the same gate years ago with my oldest son..but it wasn’t as cute as this one. The gray wood blends with the plastic, so it doesn’t look like an ugly baby gate. The quality is the same as what I purchased years ago as well, which was pretty good. The gate is sturdy and grips well; you’re able to step over easily without having to undo it each time. My only complaint is the metal piece that locks the gate into place..it’s a bit hard to undo when you actually do want to take gate down, but I’m sure it will loosen up with use. All in all, very attractive and functional for $20.

Tengo diferentes barreras de protección para un bebé y esta sin duda es la que más me gusta y volvería a comprar. Me gustaría que hubiera de una medida más extendida para colocarla en espacios más grandes. Recomendada.
