Using this to keep our dogs secure when we have visitors.
Our dogs don’t like strangers, so when company comes, we have been putting them in the laundry room. With this gate, we can just send them to the back of the house. This gate was easy to install, the instructions were easy to follow and correct. It is wide enough for our hallway, and it doesn’t look bad.Its easy to open and close and it is out of the way when not in use.We had a wooden door up at one time, but it required a threshold which we didn’t like. This one does not and you can gate off any area needed with it. Its holding up well to the dogs jumping on it so far.It is sturdy and we hope it will last a while.

Installation takes a bit but final product is great
Whether you are keeping children safe or preventing animals from accessing part of your house, this overlong barrier is fantastic. It takes a bit to locate the perfect location and install it but once installed it is simple to quickly close the barrier and block off access. The gate is low enough for tall people to step over but opening it is very easy.

A little clunky but it gets the job done
These hold up against our very powerful toddler and keep him safe, despite the wide entrances in our kitchen and living room. They are a little tough to use and our 5 year old struggles to be strong enough to latch and unlatch it. That said, they’re the right size and they keep our baby from getting anywhere dangerous. Plus they are slim and out of sight when you’re not using it

    Gate
Sturdy and durable, I found it super easy to install and love that it fits with baseboards, it’s easy to lock and unlock with one hand

Large and high strength mesh gate
This gate works nicely and has a locking feature to keep it from extending or retracting once you have it at the length you need. The brackets can be mounted two different ways, flush with the wall or sticking out from it. Unfortunately for me it’s 2″ too tall for where I wanted to use it meaning I would have to screw the brackets into the edge of my counter. Nope. Not a big deal, I’ll use it between two extending cargo bars vertically with a 3D printed version of the bracket that can hold onto a pipe. The mesh is a dense rubber coated material that feels like it would hold up to pet claws. I am using it for my pet rabbit who is obsessed with getting directly UNDER your feet whenever you’re in the kitchen. (Food? Food. FOOD! NEED!!)

    Retractable Baby Gate-55 Inch
This retractable baby gate is 55 inches long and 34 inches tall. It was quite easy to set up, and can be fixed onto any opening or doorway. It is made of a sturdy mesh that is easy to wipe off, and feels durable enough for small children and pets. I really like the safety lock feature that makes it difficult for your children to open, but is easy for us adults to do.

    Easy to put up
Great quality and value for the money.

    Terrible install
My husband had issues trying to screw in the wall. Said the plastic pieces kept breaking. Thankfully we have a decent amount of spare items that he was able to make it work. It’s nice that when not in use, there’s not an “open door” like my other baby gate.
