My Patient Wasn’t Cooperating
The handheld six-function Veterinary Monitor provides instant feedback on the animal’s vitals, including ECG, HR, BP, SpO2, PR, and TEMP. Whether it’s a general checkup or an emergency, quickly analyze the health condition before performing advanced procedures. As a pet owner for 75 years, I’ve observed Vet Techs using similar equipment while performing my pets’ annual checkups or quickly gathering information to provide to the Veterinarian in an emergency.Other than performing an EKG, I’m familiar with performing the tests for the other five functions. The quality of the handheld monitor and stand and the various cuffs, patches, and tubing are similar to other OTC products I’ve used.I installed the Berry Smart Health app on my iPhone. It is a robust app that can be used on many platforms.My cat patient didn’t want to cooperate as I tested the five functions. Either I need an assistant, or she must be ill before I can thoroughly test the equipment.I feel empowered to monitor her health and get her into the Veterinarian’s office before it’s too late.Full Disclosure: I received this product for free from the Vine program. Amazing!
Update…we had a kitty stop breathing during surgery then his little heart stopped but the vet was able to revive him and thankfully we had this machine to monitor him afterwards.I ordered this bp monitor for the TNR facility that I volunteer at as surgeries are done within the building by volunteer vets.We were amazed at what all this machine had to offer and was excited to try it out.All the pieces it comes with looks overwhelming so if you have no clue what you’re doing, the manual doesn’t come with step by step instructions on how to use.We were able to figure out a few of the features and used Berry the cat (which is also the company equipment name) as a guinea pig.As you can see in the video, the equipment works well and the screen is very clear with information.A highly recommended piece of equipment!Will update with vets opinion after our next TNR weekend.
