Easy to set up and use, excellent value, works with Zoneminder (RTSP) and ONVIF
I bought the Q7 2-pack after using another model of Wanview camera a few months ago. I am very satisfied with my purchase so far.Everything on these cameras, from setup to operating and monitoring, is done thru the Wansview app (I use the Android app). I have found that if I read what the app tells me to do CAREFULLY and do EXACTLY what it says, the camera can be up and running in just a couple of minutes. I tried configuring the cameras both ways, either by scanning the QR code sticker on the camera with the phone app or by having the camera scan a QR code on the phones app, either way works fine. All settings, from manually setting IP address to changing the user/password, to enabling RTSP and ONVIF support (for those who need to use the camera with non-Wansview apps and systems) are easily configured via the Wansview app.Motion sensing works great. Motion sensitivity is adjustable, the camera can make a short siren sound when motion is detected (or not), the phone can pop up a notification for motion, video clips or a snapshot of the motion can be viewed, etc. It all depends what you want it to do. All configured and viewed on the app.I’ve had the RTSP feed enabled for 3 days now and VLC on Android displays the video whenever needed. Video quality is fine, better than I expected for a camera at this price point.Power is 5V 1A supplied by the included USB power cube and a long USB/MicroUSB cable.I am currently using these cameras to view what the household pets are doing when we’re not there. Since these are sold as indoor cameras I am not going to put them out in the weather. They also come with mounting brackets with screws to mount to a wall or ceiling.TL;DR – an easy to use camera (as IP cameras go) that’s very configureable at a very good price.Update 1: The cameras have been running for about a month now and are performing fine. The RTSP feed is still there (viewed with VLC on Android) and the Wansview app can access and configure. The Q7’s appear to be very stable and work well.

Best way to keep an eye on my pooch.
What can I say. I am still so impressed by the value this camera brings. I can check on my dog using the app, and it gives me a real sense of security to see he’s OK while I’m not home. Setup was incredibly easy and straight forward; in 10 minutes from unwrapping I was online and seeing one of the most bright, vivid, and crisp pictures I have ever seen from a home security camera. Even the night pictures are beyond compare. I have not used all the included thoughtful features yet, but the motion detect and two way voice system is just great for me. I will be purchasing more of these cameras to cover my entire house, but for now these two cover over 50% of the home areas if strategically situated.

very nice picture quality
This is a great camera, works awesome, the app is easy to set up, I am having a problem with setting up the second camera, for some reason it will not set up at all, I contacted customer service by email as they instructed and within one day I got instructions by a woman name Melody in an email, I did what she asked and still the camera does not want to work….but Melody also in her email also said for me to contact her either way if it did or did not work so we will see as for now I am impressed with how the camera looks, works, if you are looking for a great camera look no further just buy this camera system…..I am sure they will do everything to get the second one to work fine

Effective product and Great customer service
I’ve used this camera off/on for about 6 months and it’s been reliable and helpful. I’ve needed to contact customer service a couple times with questions and they’ve replied quickly with solutions that worked. The price is right and the service is great.

Clear visual and audio functions
Got this camera to monitor my cat and it works so well! Thereâs a feature to speak through the camera and the sound is just fine, sounds a little like a walkie talkie. The motion detection may be a little too sensitive; I left it on and selected the option to take pictures when the motion detection was triggered. It would primarily detect motion at night, which was odd because the camera was posted up in a low traffic area. On the app, there are a lot of features to toggle on/off. It never lagged when I was looking through at the live monitor. & the pictures from the camera are great!

Great camera
Camera setup is tricky. You have to hold cell phone with QR code in front of the camera until you hear the connection. This sounds easy, BUT it took multiple times before hearing the connection. That is not a real problem though. The biggest issue for users is , Wansview cameras will only work with the Wansview cloud cell phone app and they do not play well with generic IP camera viewer programs. If you have multiple camera makers this forces you to have multiple IP camera viewer programs to monitor all of you cameras.

Good camera/Great customer service
The camera works very well when sensing motion and the picture is clear, even in a dark room. The microphone doesn’t detect sound unless the source of the sound is close to or facing the camera. I had mine in the room with a dementia patient. The first time it fell to the floor, it just stopped working completely. It would be a good purchase if you only needed motion detection and knew it would be in a secure place.UPDATE: I was able to contact Wansview about the broken camera. Winnie emailed me right away and has been so kind and thorough in helping me with the issue. I would give 4 stars on the camera but 10 stars on the customer service. I will definitely purchase from this company again.
